  1. You mean other than his clearly charged Pathian earing meant for prayer (and evidently awkward telepathic conversations)?
  2. I think the belief is that Fortuity was attracted to a woman once and was rejected in public. If only he could've seen it coming, eh? Bam.
  3. Elend would've made a good Windrunner before he went tyrant out of necessity. HoA Elend on the other hand basically is encountering the Dalinar problem of getting people to shut up and listen. Being the guy in charge sucks.
  4. Technically that first one is still what actually happened, depending on whose side you were on. Alloy of Law being somewhat of an example of how much perspective can change who is identified as the hero.
  5. You do realize ferrings do not posses allomancy? Airsick lowlanders . . .
  6. This us still my favorite one of that type. What's this image actually called anyway?
  7. I'm pretty sure we already know it's literally just a name for the organization. The Shards of Adonalsium number 16. The end.
  8. Should we even use his name? Killing TLR outright would be difficult too though, with how fast he is. Protecting the brain and goldmind would have to be top priority of course, but GodFather would probably need to nuke the city at once to manage. Assuming TLR doesn't just push himself out of range with duralumin coupled with his already superpowered allomancy. GodFather would need to nuke the planet at once. He'll then need to recreate it before he loses too many souls regenerating from the vacuum I guess? How much would that even take O_O That was a pretty nice scene tbh. The anime even went biblical with the commercial break eyecatches saying Our Father instead of just Father.

The mobile editor is weird as always huh. Thanks Moogle.

Isn't there something about inquisitor descendants being more likely to be allomancers, discounting the . . . complications? Would kandra offspring end up inheriting portions of the Blessings of its parents and end up being like 1% more intelligent? And what would happen to kandra-human crossbreeds, as has been brought up? The organs and cells seem compatible at least in appearance but the spiritweb structure fundamentally differs. All this fridge horror. All the more reason for kandra to be careful eh?
  11. Inquisitor steel/ironsight suggests that with enough power even trace metals in human bodies and other matter can cause allomancy to manifest steel/ironlines. Aluminum does not show up to coinshots and lurchers even at large quantities, so it's probably outright immune.

    That Kelsier Thing

The thought didn't occur to me then since I was half asleep but you might have a point. Though this IS the forum section that already has AoL spoilers in it. Someone ask a mod/admin/whatever they're called here to come over? I swear title edits have occurred before.
  13. Shai's forgery didn't seem weakened enough for her to make note of the difference either, and she wasn't un MaiPon at the time. The strength decay of AonDor probably only seemed drastically noticeable because they were out of range of Aon Rao, perhaps? The actual decay of regional magic systems being a real problem, but not as big of a difference since AonDor is actually constantly supercharged? That, or we go with the theory of Dahkor having better range since Fjordell identity is associated with global conquest/domination.
  14. There would be less bits of it, but you can't just get rid of it. If anything Sel still has almost too much intelligent life for its own good after Odium finished with it. The cognitive realm should still be mostly intact. Blatantly unsafe to travel through, but intact.
  15. Better question is: why would it make any more sense were hemalurgy able to steal multiple powers than it does right now being only able to steal one? There's no reason it would work any differently than it does currently ("the way we know how to do it", so to speak), else we could just impale two people through the heart with an atium spike and end up with a very large piece of spiritweb transferred.
  16. I wonder if duraluminminds can store enough spiritual connection to the planet itself to revoke gravity . . . Lashings are specialized in doing just that, but surely there's a system that can do it by loophole abuse out there . . .
  17. Move the tripwire to spine height too, I guess. Not sure what to call them anymore.
  18. You know, Adolin must look pretty fancy. Blonde and black. I forget, is his hair just normal blonde, or Iriali gold?
  19. I reckon they'd just be crushed by their own weight without their gravity(?)spren without some drastic change to their anatomy.
  20. Since nobody has even figured out where the storming thing is that possibility, while enticing, is pretty pointless to bring up.
  21. This isn't really a discussion thread . . . I brought that thing up and someone asked me for a link to prove it. Anyone remember where it came from? [Context: Thread title was originally about Kelsier's ghost taking up Preservation.]
  22. Even the Reshi Isles seem to have weird spren around them though. And the Santhid. With skyeels mentioned to have them I normally just assume that those are the spren sustaining the reduced gravity to accommodate their absurd size.
  23. When you see a bunch of pugs in the span of 12 hours and get this urge to look through Twy's Stormmeme Archive. Saw a storefront named [forgot first word] Gallery Dark Eyes and wondered why darkeyes would even buy glassware or go to galleries.
  24. What theory about Nightblood being on Roshar?
