I'm going to jump a it off topic here and point out another change that I found interesting "Father carried Shallan over the body of a woman in blue and gold. Little blood there." What interested me is how this is similar to Miles final words "One day, the men of Gold and Red, bearers of the final metal will come to you. And you will be ruled by them." I don't think its a coincidence that Brandon changed it to those colors and I've always suspected that there was more to Shallan's mother than we saw.

Now we just need to find an awakener with enough breaths to give the suit Jarvis's personality and it will be complete.

New here, I'm just wondering what's our plan if/when they do decide to attack a city we know Naples is the closest one but they said a city not the closest city. ​If we do know that they are in fact headed for Naples I propose we take a leaf right out of Rodel's book (i'm assuming that at least most of us have read the wheel of time) we evacuate the city of civilians and leave solders in civilian dress when the war heard shows up expecting to engage in mass slaughter we spring the trap. the only problem with this is if they have eyes in the sky that we can't see. But if their using teleportation they might have their mother ship docked well outside the range of any sensors, they might not even need a ship and if they do have some form of cloaking device that's keeping them hidden then we're probably screwed. one last thing that I noticed they aren't all arriving at once it's possible that the teleporter needs time to cool down or recharge between uses.

I just spent most of the night posting on star wars forms and Facebook pages trying to help rally support to get Disney to continue the books which they unceremoniously abandon to make the new films. and the only thing I've got to show for it is that I've realized how badly our little groups are outnumbered by people who seem to hate the E.U. now I'm to depressed to go to sleep and we're no closer to getting the book series to continue (sigh) maybe I'll do a Sanderson reread but now every time I pick up a book I'm reminded that I'm just one author decision away from having wasted my money (even though the rational part of my brain tells me that wont happen). For snipers maybe a coinshot who was also a tin ferring And since you've put the idea in my head here's some other ideas for the Misting/Ferring SWAT team in the third trilogy. I would want some pewter arms or bloodmakers to act as bullet sponges and to keep the more squishy members of the team safe. I would probably want a Nicrosil misting to boost the rest of the squads ability. For some reason I imagine the captain as being a steel or iron misting with a spike allowing him to burn the other metal in the set no idea why since at this point we don't even know if Hemalurgy will be widely known by this point, it just seems cool. I would guess that they have a Zinc ferring or better yet a compounder working the coms or computers to help keep the rest of the team in contact and to do security hacking or something like that. A bronze ferring could be useful for keeping guard since they can stay awake far longer than anyone else so they'd make good night watchmen a tineye could work here as well. Duralium or Aluminum ferrings (not sure which) could be spies or scouts since no one would notice them while they were storing. An Atium ferring could work here as well since they can change their age imagine you chase a young man around the corner and standing there is an old geezer who tells you that the young man went that way (note this would be a lot easier if said ferring was also a cadmium misting like Wane). You'd probably want a copper misting to hide the teams actions and probably a rioter or soother as well (better yet both) for when you need to interrogate someone. Also a crasher for demolitions purposes, this would be a lot easier if you gave them a spike to let them compound iron letting them become supper heavy and then simply blow down a building with one steelpush.

We don't know for certain but Brandon has hinted that the Madman who claims to be Taln isn't the real Taln. The shardblades/honorblades don't match up ether when the first man who claims to be Taln breaks down the gate at the end of WOK his sword is described as being like a spike but when Dalinar gets his hands on a shardblade that was supposedly in the mysterious mad mans possession it's described as being cleaver like in appearance. The idea that it's another herald is something that I believe we came up with here, and I admit it sounds awesome. Again I don't think this has been completely confirmed by Brandon just hinted at really strongly, so there is still the possibility that he's just screwing with us. I'll post a link to the WOB latter if I can find them, but right now I need sleep.

Perhaps she's our terriswoman worldhopper I doubt it but maybe we'll get to play as a feruchemist in the sequel, if there is one.

WOR for me. The chapters in the chasms were just amazing with both Kaladin and Shallan trying to hide what they were while not realizing that the one person they could actually talk to was right next to them the whole time. Also when they weathered the highstorm together was one of the most weirdly romantic scenes ever. I've never been much of a person for ships before but I hope Kaladin manages to win in the end. That said WOK was awesome and with the exception of Shallan's chapters it was as good as WOR.

I've been trying to keep up on the Legend of the Legendary heroes (which is actually very dark despite the name) and Sword art online but as Cheese Ninja said updates are often less than consistent thanks to the translators being mostly amateurs but it's hard to complain when it's free. I also tried to read the novels for Baccano since I loved the hell out of the anime but I was a little let down to learn that the pulp fiction style of storytelling was anime only still it was a pretty good read.

Granted they're moved to the future with the monster. I wish I could understand women (although this might be beyond even the nightwatcher)

That's possible, If Bondsmith spren can't become blades then when his knight abandoned his/her oath then the Stormfather would have just lost his mind and become a mindless spren, with no purpose other than blowing the winds as he always has. But then you have the question of what happened to snap him back to sentience. Although that could have something to do with people seeing him as the personification of honor.

Pretty simple question here, if you were given the chance to become a god, to gain all the powers of a shard but at the cost of your personality since you must become the shard to use it would you do it? And if you said yes which shard would you become? I know this might sound crazy but I would do it and i'd probably chose to be Odium.

Well the feast takes place before Baxil's interlude with several years in between them and we know that she's getting worse, perhaps at the time of the feast she was only breaking art of herself but now she's breaking everything? Granted that seems like a short span of time for such a big change but there are a lot of events that have gone down that might have caused her to change.

Alright I figured I should post this today here's the first quarter of the Radiants versus the Awakeners. Announcer 1: "And here we are folks a beautiful day here at Endowment stadium in the heart of downtown Hallandren were we're set to watch the Rosharian Radiants take on the Nalthis Awakeners." Announcer 2: "Yes that's right Bob and here the teams enter the stadium and the big question that the Awakeners are probably asking themselves is if they have enough breath to make it through the game. And even if they manage to win here will they be able to replenish their stores before the Cosmere bowl? And while we've been talking it looks like the Awakeners have elected to receive the ball first." Announcer 1: "And that's a beautiful stormlight enhanced kick from Jasnah and down the field it goes and it's gonna be caught by Lightsong who runs up the field and, is taken down by Szeth on the 30 yard line... And it's snapped to team captian Vasher who pauses to do something probably trying to awaken the ball before he is tackled at the 25 by Adolin." Announcer 2: "Now the big question here is was awakening the ball worth losing the yards there I mean obviously Vasher seems to think so but you have to wonder?" Announcer 1: "And there's the snap and Vasher looks for someone, he throws and the ball looks like it's going for Blushweaver but Adolin is all over her, by endowment the ball just did a 70 degree turn and flew strait for Vivenna who makes the catch and runs look at her go that awakened clothing speeding her up and she is moving down the field and she's brought down by Szeth at the Radiants 40." Announcer 2: " looks like the awakening paid off Vasher must have said fly to Vivenna there what a brilliant play he caught the Radiants completely off guard with that one. You've also got to question what the Radiants are thinking using Szeth like that, at this rate he’s going to burn through his stormlight way before this drive ends Announcer 1: "And here's the snap and it looks like the Awakeners are going to try and run the ball Vasher hands it off to Susebron who plows right through the Radiant line scattering the linebackers like they weren't even wearing shardplate. And no one seems to be able to stop him as he drives his way through the line with the help of Vashers lifeless." Announcer 2: "Yes those stone bodies just aren't something that you can stop easily even with shards. And with all that awakened cloth on Susebron there’s nothing the Rosharians can do as he makes the first touchdown of the night for the Awakeners"... "And it looks like with a command of go in goal Vasher sinks the extra point. making the score seven nothing Awakeners."" Announcer 1: " As there lining up you have to wonder what’s going through the Radients heads right now they just gave up the first points of the night and they really couldn’t do much to stop the Awakeners from scoring them is this going to affect how they play the rest of the night. And here's the kickoff and it's going and it's a fair catch by Lift, she's running and she slides between two lifeless then slips right under Susebron." Announcer 2: "Look at this girl go she slips under around over, the Awakeners just can't stop her. She breaks free from the pack Vasher and Vivenna are trying to close the gap on her but she's just too awesome for them to touch and she's at the 40, the 30 the 20, Vivenna makes a desperate lunge but no! she slides right of Lift's arm and what an incredible return Touchdown Radiants!" Announcer 1: "And it looks like Jasnah makes the kick and it's going to be a tie game seven to seven at the end of the first quarter." I'll try to write the rest of the game later but I'm having a hard time coming up with plays for the Awakeners so i'm open to suggestions.
