Spoilers for the Rithmatist here. OK here's a mad theory that I got after I read Joels description of the Forgotten, he says that it looks like it was drawn from Charcoal. this got me thinking what if there's another power in the world other than Rithmatics. What if there are things in the tower of Nebraska that draw with Charcoal. They create the Forgotten and the Forgotten create the wild Chalklings? I don't really have any basis for this theory other than the Forgotten looking like it was made of Charcoal and my idea that something is in Nebraska creating these things.

No but most people on Roshar have never seen a bird other than a chicken which are often exported from Shin as livestock. Because of this whenever someone sees a bird they assume that it's just another kind of chicken. For example Shallan actually sees a parrot at the menagerie but she just thinks its a strange chicken.

Had a hard time choosing here, I like both Kaladin and Lift (Shallan coming in a close third) but given how many people voted for Kaladin I decided to go against the grain and vote for Lift.

Ok I've been a fan of Sandersons work since he first began to finish the WOT but after reading Words of Radiance I became hooked on the Cosmere stories. it was only a matter of time before I found my way here and after lurking for a little while and reading a lot of awesome stuff I decided I'd give it a try. A word of caution, I usually take a while to learn new technology systems so If I mess up any posts trying to put up a photo or something you know what went wrong.
