  1. The Skaa could definitely have jumped on Raccine as it became more obvious she was getting lynched. Voting for a Skaa does not clear your name. Edit: Azul
  2. Hmm. I'm throwing my vote at Raccine. If we lynch her then we get some information back to unravel this mess. It could be a set up, but there's no way to know for certain until she dies.
  3. I believe in Elantris there is a painting or mural of the Shardpool that has it surrounded by a gateway, or something of that nature. Then we have Hoid popping out of the (probably) Shardpool in the Horneater mountains. Worldhopping Easter Eggs?
  4. Before Ruin and Preservation created Scadrial there was Yolen. Yolen is basically the "original" Shardworld. All of the other worlds (Scadrial, Sel, etc) and their life forms are in imitation of it. This is because Ruin and Preservation were presumably Yolish. Yolish humans are the template for all the other human races in the Cosmere. Presumably most other life forms (horses, grass, trees, etc.) also are based off of ones found on Yolen, as they are found throughout the Shardworlds.
  5. Rust and Ruin. I forgot to put in a Night Action. I'm afraid I'll be of little help today, my friends. D: - I'll get on earlier tomorrow, I should be free most of the day. Edit: Blue
  6. I have a feeling it would go something like this: "Hello! I'm Kelsier the Mistborn!" "Hi! I'm Prince Adolin!" "Great to meet you Ado-Wait...Prince... does that mean.... you're a noble?" "Why, yes! I'm next in line for the Kholin family throne." "Hmm. In that case... DIE! NOBLE SCUM!" I have a feeling they wouldn't get along at all. It would be like Kaladin and Adolin's interactions, except Kelsier has no qualms about killing and isn't obligated to protect Adolin. He'd kill him if he felt like it.
  7. The Shaod is the transformation from ordinary human to Elantrian. I think what you're thinking of is the Reod. The Elantrians change into their "zombie" form because the Shaod is trying to change them, but cannot complete the process, leaving them in "zombie" mode. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it's theorized that the Shaod takes people who are especially devoted to something. My personal theory is that the Power of Devotion, a splintered Shard, is trying to find a new host or body, and is reaching out to people whose Intents line up with Devotion's.
  8. Sorry, Forging isn't Soulcasting. :/ You can't change ordinary rocks to soulstone, that's too big of a difference. The Stamp wouldn't take, at least not for very long.
  9. I'd kick apart the bed frame to get a long piece of wood. I'd attempt to Forge that into some kind of weapon (staff, spear, you get the drift). I'd Forge the door to have the interior rotted out of it, so I could break through it easily. Lastly, I'd attempt to create what would be the most difficult stamp to make. I'd attempt to make one of the guards sympathetic and wish to help me. - My game plan: Ask one of the chattier/friendlier guards in to chat, or wait for him to come in by himself. After distracting him, I'd Stamp him to make him more inclined to help me. I'd then grab my makeshift weapon and break down the door. The Stamped guard and I would overpower the other guard, and then I could steal his clothes. We'd hide his unconscious body in the cell, making sure to keep him knocked out. I'd re-Stamp the other guard as needed to keep him loyal. When the guard shift comes, I can fake being a guard and get out. After that, I stroll on out of the complex and, if possible, requisition or steal a horse so I can make a swift retreat before my ruse is discovered. Thoughts? I think it might work.
  10. Or even better, a Chasmfiend. Scaled to the size of the Axehound. ... I'm gonna need a bigger 3d printer....
  11. Preservation's wings! This is amazing!
  12. I had read all four Mistborn novels, Elantris, Warbreaker, and the Way of Kings. I had noticed that some things seemed similar throughout, but I assumed it was just Brandon using the same methods/terms when writing. I had noticed Hoid was in both Elantris and Mistborn, but didn't think much of it. Then I read Words of Radiance. My brain did a bellyflop at the end. IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?!?! DO I RECOGNIZE MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE CHARACTER FROM ?! I hopped onto the internet, and after going onto the Coppermind saw one word that changed my view of Sanderson's writings forever. COSMERE. I started reading wiki article after wiki article, then I read and reread every Cosmere novel I owned, and then bought more. Then I joined 17th Shard and learned even more.
  13. Kaldin sat down, gingerly removing the panda from the seat. Kaldin swore he almost felt a sense of anger coming from the stuffed creature. "Mind if I join in?" Kaldin asked the man with the cards. "I'm a bit rubbish at this game, though I do very much enjoy playing it." I'm kinda lost right now. Mountains of blue and black text to read and try to understand. I'm not too good at this yet. Wandrin still hasn't done anything since he was last called out, so I'mma throw a vote his direction.
  14. Sorry I haven't been on guys. I've been pretty busy lately. Whoo. After reading through that mountain of posts (seriously, you guys have already posted this much?!)... I have no idea what's going on. So we're trying to keep in-forum discussion going rather than house doc scheming? I can work with that. I'll vote Cat, because they haven't posted yet but are watching the thread.
  15. Probably not. His metalminds were removed, then he was shot a couple dozen times at point blank range in front of a large crowd and then had his body disposed of somehow. I'm pretty sure he's very dead. - - Oh, I just realized that the book Wax is reading in the first chapter of Shadows of Self on brandonsanderson.com is probably the book given to Marasi by Marsh. Hmm. It likely discusses Hemalurgy in some detail, judging from the bits we see. My guess is the second book will involve more Hemalurgical possibilities. Similar to how the original Mistborn trilogy examined the different magic systems in the different books, I'm guessing that AoL explained Twinborn and the second will delve into the advances in Hemalurgy by the writer of the book.
  16. Hmm. This means that if Hoid's OP healing comes from Feruchemy then the Lord Ruler would survive being beheaded and cut by a shardblade, which it's generally accepted (from what I've seen) that he would die from those. Interesting.
  17. Going to ask for a copy of the book. The Comics will definitely get his name out. Hopefully the Final Empire movie rights get taken up again, that would be awesome.
  18. Buy. Wax will use Hemalurgy in Shadows of Self.
  19. Adolin unknowingly uses his new found surgebindings to kill one of Odium's minions and will assume that he killed Odium and proclaim that the problem is over, when in fact there are still 13 books left in the series and Odium is not, in fact, dead. I just finished rereading book one, if you can't tell.
  20. Actually, you don't need to have metal in your stomach to use it Allomantically, it just needs to be within your body. I can't remember where I saw that WoB, but it exists somewhere. If it completely obliterated him to bite sized pieces then it would have instantly killed him. If there was enough left to allow him to start healing and he had a metalmind, he could come back from it.
  21. Well, there's one instance where he's apparently burned to almost nothing but bones and still regenerates. As long as he's even slightly cognitively aware and has a gold metalmind attached to him he can regenerate from just about anything through massive compounding. As long as his metalminds aren't removed and he isn't instantly killed he's still going to keep bouncing back from any wound.
  22. I'll be Kaldin Fathvell. Descendant of the (maybe) famous Mistborn, Fendin Fathvell. RP coming eventually.
  23. Well. Now I'm scared this will happen. Please don't take a page out of Martin's book, Mr. Sanderson! Kelsier's ghost will appear to Kaladin and tell him to keep killing the storming nobles lighteyes.
