Nope... This thing is pretty minor in the book it's in, but could end up actually being very significant.

Cool. - Another random thing, this kind of dreaming is when I world-build the most. (Like creating the huge amount of elements that go into a fantasy world and universe) I don't world-build while I'm awake, mainly, I do it while dreaming. A couple nights ago I had a dream about a magic system; last night I went to sleep thinking about it. My dream last night was in a fantasy world with that magic system integrated into it. I altered elements of it as I was dreaming (like the architecture, to make it more "fantastical." but mostly it just worked by itself. I'm going to start actively trying to create situations where that happens so I can refine my world-building inside of dreams. - Seriously, though. Those sleep paralysis dreams? Freaky stuff, man. I hate those things with a burning passion.
-
Hmm. Is what I do lucid dreaming? I'll be dreaming (my dream last night was in a fantasy setting, I may write something about it on another thread) and I'll be stuck in the setting (to some degree, I can aspects of it if I want to (In my fantasy setting dream there was something that didn't look very... "fantasical." so I changed it to a stone brick wall or something to make it fit), but I can't change the whole setting of the dream. When I was younger I got the sleep paralysis thing a lot, I can remember dozens of dreams where it was just impossible to move within it, and I was scared out of my wits. It doesn't happen so much anymore, and I can change things and control the way my dreams go more. - Another thing I do is kinda odd. I'll wake up to my alarm clock, set it to go off again in like half an hour. I'll fall right back into the dream I was having and I'll have more control of it. I did this several times in a row this morning, actually. I also remember my dreams really well without writing anything down. As I mentioned previously, I may write stuff from this particular dream. It was pretty awesome, if you ask me. I also don't really have a "reality check." On some level I know I'm dreaming, otherwise I couldn't change things the way I do, but I don't check at all. I just kinda throw myself into the setting of the dream.

Nopes all around. Here's another hint: You have the world right, it is Scadrial. It isn't human, though.
-
That's a negative on all those. I'll give a hint later if no one gets it.
-
Nope on all of those.
-
Woohoo. Here's my hint: Like Marsh. But bigger.

Long Game 6: Daes Dae'Mar, The Great Game

Keep in mind, we're in the middle of the winter stuff here (depending on when in the timeline this is). Think of it less like lynching the horse, and more like making horse jerky. We are pretty hungry here, even with the waffles.- 503 replies

I've seen some good arguments for voting for both Bob Dirt and Jain. At risk of killing someone important, and in the interest of getting more information, I cast a vote for... *flips coin* Jain. - I'm new to this, but it's my opinion that you can't get any real information without the information you get from deaths. Waiting around is not really my style, and I don't think just talking will get us villagers anywhere.- 503 replies

I've been busy the past couple days. I've had some work and I've been hanging out with friends a lot. I didn't expect it to cause suspicion, though, otherwise I would've made sure to log in and afk more often. I don't appreciate the second vote against me, Malai, but I don't suspect you of being a Darkfriend so I'm not going to retaliate against your accusations as of right now. - So the Forsaken didn't use their kill? Hmm. Surprising. I shall have to retreat back into my lair and ponder on this (non) occurrence. Edit: It was blue. STORM IT. IT WAS BLUE.- 503 replies

Oh hey, I was right. I guessed that the fool was Hoid, but without any direct scenes with him I couldn't be sure.

Ah. That's where I saw it. Thanks!

I feel like I remember a recent WoB that says we've seen Rosharans on other worlds. I can't remember where I saw it, though. I have to reread everything again and keep an eye out for Rosharan looking people and odd dialogue.

Whoo, I've caught up. I've had a busy day today, haven't been able to get on much. So right now it's looking like we'll have a witless mayor. Unless there's a massive switch-up it's looking like my vote isn't really going to affect things much. I would vote Witless solely for the humor of the name, though. The lynch-vote deadlock is interesting, too. I'm curious to see if there's going to be any upsets in the last few hours of the day.- 503 replies

I wanted to get debates happening and the game to get rolling. I'm new, so I may have done a bit too much pushing for it. My reasoning for choosing to vote for you is this: You were the first one to go for a lynch vote, which made you a juicier target. While that might not seem like much of a reason, it was pretty much the only way I could think of to shake things up. The RP bit and you changing your vote a couple times just added onto that. Newan, I'm willing to extend the hand of friendship if you are. I'd rather not die on the first day due to a misunderstanding of motives. And by your own words "If I was a darkfriend, I would probably wait and see if people piled onto my vote."- 503 replies

Hah. I just noticed the circular vote Pattern. - I just thought a couple accusations and a couple votes would get things moving around here. You know, make things get more exciting! Plus who knows! Whoever we end up lynching could end up actually being a Darkfriend, now wouldn't that be funny.- 503 replies

Dellan watched the accusations fly across the room, some even directed at him! This is pointless, he thought to himself. We won’t achieve anything this way. “We need to stop with these foolish accusations! he interjected, pushing himself to the center of the crowd. “We have a foreigner who has now accused two of our fellows and even I have been accused without reason! He gestured towards one woman in the group. “Malai, I have known you for some time, and did not think that you would be one to give in to such paranoia! I will, however, forgive you today. I will not hold this against you.” He turned towards the foreigner. “You, however, are an outsider. No one can vouch for you. No one knows anything about you but your name, and even that could be a lie. You have sown dissent and confusion amongst us. You could very easily be an agent of the enemy come to destabilize us. If anyone deserves to be lynched, it is you, Newan!” EDIT: Tab key broke, that ain't good.- 503 replies
