  1. My defence: If I was an Eliminator I'd be getting on more often.
  2. Hmm. Apparently me being inactive and doing nothing makes us villagers more successful. Interesting.
  3. Sorry I'm inactive. Stuff has been going crazy lately. My mum's laptop crashed, so she's using mine right now. Also I somehow got unregistered from my school. Luckily we found out about that yesterday otherwise I wouldn't be going to school this year! - I've also been inactive because I really don't have much to say/do. I haven't gotten any messages so I have no useful information to say in thread.
  4. Sorry I've been gone, guys. I just got back from vacation and the last couple days have been kinda hectic. I should be able to get on more from now on, though.
  5. Yeah. We of House Tuy did not say anything after the first day. Can we have a Reverse-Talking Heads award? We tied for the House Win and we only broke three pages because of the GM. - I said I was Mistborn when it was just Jae and I; I rolled the dice and figured it wasn't too likely I'd have a Skaa for a House-mate. Then Asyr joined our House, and I got worried. I decided after two nights of me living that Asyr must be good, since I wasn't dead yet. (QUICK QUESTION FOR THE SKAA. WHY DID I LIVE. YOU KNEW I WAS MISTBORN THE WHOLE TIME!) I was actually kinda shocked when he ended up being Skaa.
  6. I was thinking of the "/" angled runner. What I gathered from the article is that at wind speeds higher than 120 mph it becomes impossible to stay on your feet, and you end up getting lifted up and thrown backwards. Maybe they could push it a little faster with your jumping gait strategy, but not very much in my opinion. They'd still be subject to the wind's lift pulling them off the ground and making running impossible.
  7. Just realized, I haven't decided at all what Kaladen is like. Hmm. Maybe a trained surgeon but a skilled spearman? Maybe a tavern guard? Sure, I'll roll with that. Kaladen surveyed the rustling crowd, looking for any troublemakers or rabble-rousers amongst them. One came in complaining that the madman preaching outside had nearly knocked him over as he left. - I should really deal with that one someday. It's bad for business, having a madman preaching the end of the world outside your door. (tempted to put in a grumble about false accusations )
  8. Woohoo! First game I've lived through! Well played, everyone. - So does House Tuy get the Reverse-Talking Heads award? We got the tie for the House Win and we only broke into three pages because of GM messages. Seriously, that doc was deader than Mailu. (Too soon?) Kaldin dropped a coin as he fell through the cool night air. It landed with a clatter on the cobblestones beneath him, then fell flat as he lightly pushed against it to slow his fall. He strode off into the swirling mists and ash with the arrogant confidence only a trained Mistborn burning Pewter and Tin could have. He left the coin; his family's wealth meant he didn't need to care for such things. - Kaldin watched Lord Heron carry away the last Skaa's corpse. At last, he thought, juggling a pair of coins in his fingers, it is done.
  9. Buy. I'm thinking of becoming a regular on this thread again. - The Lord Ruler's Hemalurgic spikes were augmenting his Pushing strength.
  10. Sell. Lift is too awesome and I don't know who Gawx is. - Spoiler'd because it's from a WoB about Parshendi. Read at your own risk.
  11. Thanks for the link! My thoughts on first reading that: So anything much above 120 mph will stop you from being able to keep upright. A Steel Twinborn would be limited by that, yes? So around 100 mph is the fastest a Twinborn could run for any reasonable distance. A Full Ferumancer, though, could also tap loads of Iron to keep themselves on the ground; they could run at potentially much higher speeds. So "Average Joe" human can survive 500 mph wind without serious damage. Assuming they can still breathe, that means that a very low calc for the Lord Ruler's speed is around 500 mph. Hmm. The Lord Ruler is looking more and more OP with every second. If he didn't have game-breaking CIS he would've wrecked everyone on Scadrial.
  12. I've only got Bronze/Copper tonight. No killing for me. I didn't ever use Steel this game. Despite getting it and Iron three times in a row.
  13. Herdazians are Partshendi too, I think. I think I recall something about them sharing an ancestry with the Horneaters and they have dull, slate coloured fingernails too. Not sure about the teeth. They can't see Spren though, so it's probably more diluted than Horneaters.
  14. Has anyone tried asking BS for a hint of where the Kandra Worldhopper is, if it's in the books? We could start on an even more epic hunt than the Elantris Worldhopping clue.
  15. Well, I need "Average Joe" data, no powers. I'm trying to figure out the maximum speed of a Twinborn Steel/Steel user or a Ferumancer like the Lord Ruler. There is only one WoB that I've found related to this, it says something along the lines of "They can move as fast as they want to, but they're limited by air resistance and that could injure them if they exceed certain speeds." - Now, TLR burning Pewter (Which would be Duralumin strength Pewter at all times) could move much faster than an ordinary Steel Twinborn, but I'm just trying to find a baseline. Right now I'm going with how much air pressure is needed pound per square inch to prevent the chest from rising, which would be the ordinary cap of how fast a Steel Twinborn could move. I have a chart from a study on the damage caused by explosions, and it says that 35 mph wind speeds cause about one pound per square inch of pressure. So if you need.... 6 PSI of pressure to stop a human from breathing, that means that the "Average Joe" Twinborn could reach speeds of just over 200 mph before not being able to breathe. If we can figure out how much more durable Pewter makes you, we can multiply that to figure out a Full Ferumancer's top speed.
  16. Hmm. Looking back, I can see how you would assume I gave up information. - But I'm not clever enough to make deals with the Skaa to get the secondary objective. I never thought of doing that. That would actually be quite impressive to see done. Hmm. I should try something like this in the future... Wait, no. You saw nothing.
  17. In theory, Mailu is the last Skaa. - I'm going to stand by what I have said, I did not say ANYTHING in my House doc. You will see when this game is done. I have not said anything since saying "You have one mission: Don't let me die." when I went out on a backpacking trip. - Also, Meta, you could've told me you wanted the Skaa to waste a kill. I would've been fine with that, but instead you made me think you actually wanted to destroy my house because of a random suspicion.
  18. This is true, Jae is in the House and probably wouldn't say anything harmful. But the more people being honest, the better. The only other one who can attest to my truthfulness is the Great and Powerful OZ GM, but he can't say anything. - I vote, in the interests of ending this game and me living through a game, that we kill someone who is likely to be, or confirmed to be, Skaa. - Also, putting on my Dellan mask, if I wanted to cause chaos and seriously try to win as a Skaa, I'd order a kill on the Tineye coordinating all the messages or the Genealogist. Without the Tineye to coordinate, no one can share information without revealing their roles anymore, and the Genealogist dying loses the Nobles a night of confirming someone.
  19. Hmm. Hemalurgy OP. - Completely unrelated, how much air pressure is required to prevent the average human male from being able to inflate his lungs? I need this. Don't ask questions.
  20. I didn't think that a Gold/Gold Twinborn could use the Compounded Health once they had the Feruchemical gold Spiked out. I could be wrong, but I'm just assuming you still have to be a Ferring to use the power. Maybe they could still use the Heath if they Burned the Goldmind Allomantically? Is that what you mean? Now that I think about it... That would probably work. Vin felt Sazed's stores when she Burned one of his Metalminds, and she wasn't a Feruchemist. Hmm.
  21. Lurcher 16 Nicroburst 16 Thug 3
  22. Oh. There is a way to get infinite Feruchemical gold spikes. I didn't think of that method. Hmm.
  23. I'm pretty sure someone in Mesist's group is a Skaa. I didn't reveal the information, so unless the Skaa just picked someone at random (doubtful) there's a traitor somewhere in that group.
  24. Yo. Ask Jae. He'll tell you the exact same thing. I SAID NOTHING. If you want to make it easy for the Skaa, go ahead. If I die, I swear I'll turn into a cognitive shadow and haunt you.
  25. Ahh. So he'd still have Feruchemical gold after getting Spiked? Alright. At least we know that Feruchemical gold can give spiked out powers back.
