Season 5, I'll admit, has gotten off to a slow start, but I'm not surprised. There is a lot changing between seasons 4 and 5, so there is bound to be a few slow episodes while they set everything up. It'll pick up again once events get moving.

Unsure if you can get it for Mac, but try GIMP. It's open source, so it's free, and is the most in depth art package I've ever seen, including Photoshop.

Going to take a guess here. You (OP) have two hard drives. One with your operating system, and one for storage/other programs? It was your second drive that crashed? If the answers to both of these questions is yes, then it is probably a registry error. Run Ccleaner, or something similar (Any registry cleaner will do), to remove unused entries from your registry, then reboot, and try reinstall. That should fix the problem.

I would also like to add that if I was soothed, it was with an enhanced soothing. I know for fact that there was a coppercloud up in my location.

It seems I'm not the only one wondering if Martin will actually finish the series. i'm not convinced he will, as I think he is enjoying himself with the TV series too much. He basically had to be kicked off the set to go and finish book six, and it still isn't done, even after 5 seasons of GoT have been created for TV.

Magician's End was pretty good, but the ten books or so that came before it were decidedly lacking in quality and continuity. From Talon of the Silver Hawk, up to but not including Magician's End have so many pointless occurrences, continuity errors, and mistakes, it is ludicrous. Even to the point of continuity errors on the same page. My main problem isn't that Feist's stories got bad. Some of them are pretty good, but rather that he seemed to stop caring if he made mistakes, and there were a lot of them.

I'll need to reread to be sure, but I think Szeth is already a Radiant, of sorts. The screams he hears, I think aren't his victims, but rather are the screams of a dead spren. The same thing that happens whenever any of the other Radiants pick up a Shardblade.

Dammit, the first time I've slept in this game, and half of you chicken out on the lynch, making my vote useless. Bah! I'm going back to street art.

By definition, you can only have one of each. What was the last movie and TV show you watched? Not what have you watched in the past week, month, year, whatever.

My vote this cycle is for Sart . The comments about him here have convinced me.

Shardplate For Horses? Any Old Horse+Shardsaddle= Instant Ryshadium
Bort replied to Atkion's topic in Stormlight Archive
Thank you Elsecaller. Illumination, not Illusion. That is what I was thinking of. -
Old Bortington-Smythe watched the fool, Faliu, as he pranced about growling and moaning at people. Sorry, Roaring, that's what it was supposed to be. "So, you want to be a dinosaur then?" That was today's artwork decided. "Stand still," he told Faliu, and started sketching on the wall. Room A1 now has a caricature of Faliu (Feligon) as a dinosaur on the wall .

My personal belief is that Ryshadiums are in fact horses that have been Cultivated.
-
Last show I watched was Game of Thrones (season 5, first 4 episodes), and the last movie I watched was Police Academy 2.
-
Yes... LotR is completely historically accurate. When Sauron fell in 1836, all references to the great war, elves, dwarves, giant eagles, treants, wizards, and the rest, were all purged from our libraries and schools. As a result, the Lord of the Rings, we only see it as a fantasy piece of fiction, not actual history like we should. Somehow, Dayman, I don't think this is what you meant, but sorry, I couldn't resist

He'd have to be one of the orders that had Illusion. Can you think of a better school of power to belong to if you are a playwright and actor? So, Lightweaver then, do you think? Illusion for on stage, and soulcasting for access to Shadesmar and his muses? -
I agree, Bashir was rather awesome. Not my favourite DS9 character - that was Daxx, which probably won't surprise you. But I always thought that Bashir and O'Brien were great too.

I'm quite a big Trek fan, and I own parts of the Original Series, all of TNG, DS9, and Voyager, and so far, none of Enterprise. DS9 was my favourite. I thought it was considerably darker than other versions of Star Trek, with the schizophrenic Commander/Captain Sisko. DS9 also has my favourite Trek species (Trill), and ship (Defiant). If anyone is interested in a Star Trek PBeM roleplay, check out Star Trek: Borderlands. It's been going for nearly 20 years, and has a number of different ships and stations you can play on. Because it has been going so long though, the later Trek movies are not considered canon (ie. Romulus still exists). If you would like to know more, Google "Star Trek Borderlands" and you'll find our site.

Excellent. Two down. Some to go. And thank you Clanky for volunteering to be exploded. I hope you remembered to pack your marshmallows. Any chance we could get a current map please?

Then Shardbarding it is then, although it has left me wondering which of the Shards Shakespeare really was... -
I'm a villager, and I've not slept yet. I've been too busy. I know some of Lev's and Kandra's reasonings behind voting for Honey Badger, and I have to admit, my vote would be going on the badger cull too (if I had slept and had a vote). That said, Ostrich also has an interesting point, and Vineyawddawg has been known for sneaky tactics in other games.

I heard the next book was Stones Unhallowed, but yes, Szeth's book. Probably.
-
I'd like to point out that we no longer know if Szeth can fly, or lash himself to walls. Syl explained that he got his powers from the honourblade, so when his bond with it was broken, surely he lost the powers? Sure, Nightblood will probably give him something, and his Skybreaker oaths may give him more, but he is no longer a Windrunner (of sorts).
