So the situation with the person I’ve been telling y’all about is the same 
Currently moving
Currently on break
Currently unsure what’s going to happen in the future 

We were texting back and forth Tuesday
And then Wednesday I was like “hey, I know things are busy right now, do you think you might be free to hang out this week or would it work better to go out another week?”
No reply
Complete radio silence 

And break ends soon, the last day is Monday 
So
I’m at a bit of a loss for what to do

In their defense, staying in between houses at an Airbnb, having people constantly in and out of the house, taking driving lessons, and having to study for said lessons all simultaneously is about as good a reason for not responding as you can get

But at the same time 
We were texting normally 
And they had time to go shopping for clothes
And plan an outing with a friend
So like

And I’d just wait to see them in person
But uuuhhhhhhh
I don’t even know if we attend the same school anymore

The final day of break is Monday but that’s the day they’re moving from the temporary Airbnb into the new permanent house 

Saturday I have an event that they could come to, I’d love to have them, but I doubt they’d want to go

So effectively it’s kinda only Sunday

Unfortunately, the only way someone's ever revealed a crush on me was with an elaborate puzzle, and neither of us was moving away, so I don't have much experience there.

Honestly, I'd probably try just ripping off the bandaid

Like just straight up text them "Hey I have something to tell you" and then "I've had a crush on you for a while" (or whatever you wanna say.)

I wouldn't be so up-front normally, but since they're leaving...

The idea is just to do like a regular hang out and then keep the letter on me and give it to them at the end 
And be like “hey, this is for when things die down a bit and you’re settled”

That way they have time to process without being stuck there having to give an immediate answer 

And that way I get to skidaddle and escape all immediate consequences like the coward I am lol

and I’m satisfied with my position. There are a lot of people in here who are closeted and legit need jailbreaking and I don’t have anything to be closeted for so it would be disrespectful to say i need help
