My approach is giving an extremely detailed explanation on every single term involved, but some people find this too confusing.

Ik when I told my dad what aroace was he was like "those are aspects that would come in a relationship eventually"

But your mom sounds nice I think. 

Maybe just explain it to her like "I feel little to no sexual attraction" and keep the pan romantic one the way hmm said

Personally, I wouldn't be entirely honest about this with my parents - not, like, in a lying way, but in more of a dumbing it down way

It depends on how good your parents are about all this but I would keep it at like bisexual

I know a lot of people in that generation struggle to understand this kind of stuff; like, my mom is super accepting and everything, but a while ago she just couldn't understand that one of our "girl" friends who liked dresses was a trans guy (she still hasn't accepted it, we've just kinda moved on and avoid that discussion)

But if you really want to I would just try to say that you were wrong earlier, and this feels right now

She’s understanding and completely supportive (like to give you an idea she even knows what furries, alterhumans, and neo pronouns are and supports ‘em)

Well, if she's as supportive as you say, maybe you could just be like "I don't know why I felt that way/thought I felt that way before" We're wrong sometimes, and I don't think it's like a huge deal if you are/were wrong here.

@SpartanBrigade I agree with what everyone else and l feel you on this like my mom is super supportive but she has this set idea of what the trans experience or the gay experience is like and she often is like “well if this person is a trans man and wears makeup are they really a trans man” but yah when I come out to her I’m probably just gonna say like I’m trans this changes nothing about me other than I want you to use she her pronouns for me please don’t question this is for me to figure out. You might want to do something like that and just be like “hey I think I’m *I forgot what you said you where* this means that I feel this way but it could also change and I will tell you if it does”
