Vapor she/her Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 "That'll be okay." Vapor looked around. "Anyone hungry?"

xinoehp512 he/him Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Hey, called Grace's voice from the empty air. You have a bit of trouble coming your way. Just a heads-up.
xinoehp512 he/him Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Quote I've kind of lost the thread of the plot... could you remind me what exactly your character is currently aiming to accomplish? Far below, a few specks rose from the ground, fighting against the wind as they raced towards the questors. "Halt!" one called in a voice that seemed to cut through the whirling winds. 9 hours ago, The_Truthwatcher said: Truth allows one of the Rekaerbs to take his hand. The pair vanish in a blink of blue light.

The figure rose up and up until it was floating at about his height. It was a man, eyes glowing silver, filled with what looked like Stormlight. "I am Zeras of the Stormbound," he said in a clear, distinct voice. "And you are trespassing on our territory."
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 "We're very sorry," Kindness says. "We'll leave quickly."

"Zeras of the Stormbound let us pass. We don't seek a fight, but we will give you one if you force our hand." My eyes burst with light. A lightning bolt blade appears in my outstretched hand.

Vapor said. "I'm afraid we can't let you leave just yet," said Zeras apologetically. "By law, all trespassers must be brought to a Stormbound outpost for questioning." 12 minutes ago, Spren of Kindness said: "Wait, what's a Stormbound?" 10 minutes ago, Nathrangking said: I snort. "Whoa, whoa, whoa," said another silver-eyed newcomer- a young woman of about sixteen, this time. "Cool it down, hothead. We don't write the rules. I mean, we do write the rules, as an organization, but we- I mean, I don't have the authority to go against them."
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 "Well, if it's the law that we need to go to your outpost, I won't fight you," Kindness says. "It's kind of like a customs department, right?"

Well then bring us someone who can." My voice is calm as an undisturbed sea.

xinoehp512 he/him Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 The small group drops through the low-lying clouds, winds parting the white mist as they pass. They are greeted with the sight of stunning blue waters, their surface rippling with waves that - although they look small - are actually tens of feet high. The setting sun glints off the water, obscuring that which lies beneath the surface. They fly in silence over the still waters for several minutes. Every so often they pass a small island or group of islands, but they pass them too quickly for any close observations to be made. Flocks of colorful birds pass by every so often, their caws of communication filling the air. After a good ten minutes traveling, Zeras speaks up. "We're almost there," he said. "We should be seeing it soon."

I ignore the scenery the thoughts of all that have transpired setting my mind ablaze. A realm lost, companions whom I half trust, enemies abound. I wish that I had listened to the others and forgotten about the affairs of mortals. Had I listened to Baalhan this never would have taken place. I may call my friend in sooner rather than later. There must be action taken, but what I don't know. This uncertainty scares me more than I want to admit. Millennia have seen me unharmed and now a threat dares to threaten me? I'll see these fools who challenge me destroyed. Their suffering will remind them of why I was once venerated as a god. When Zeras speaks his words are lost to me. "Hear me Baalhan. Answer me." My ancient whispered prayer is scattered to the winds. Edited June 19, 2020 by Nathrangking
xinoehp512 he/him Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Another couple of minutes pass. Zeras seems to be getting more and more agitated with each passing second. "I don't understand," he mutters, sweeping his eyes across the horizon. "We should be able to see it by now..."
