Oh my gosh me too!! But then in Jr. High and High School, the desks didn't open, it was just a piece of wood, so I couldn't do that anymore... In third grade, my teacher gave every student an "award" for something reoccurring during the school year, and I got the "Always has a book in her hand" award. I would also sometimes get red marks on my forehead from resting it on my desk, or I'd ask if I could stay in during recess and read, and when the teacher said no, I'd take the book outside and sit on the blacktop and read. Good times.

Yes, all of those have happened to me. The "award" one more than once.

Oh this was me :P I would regularly get the question 'are you okay?' from classmates or the teacher, to which I'd pick my head up and be like 'I'm reading' and they'd look at me for a second and be like 'um okay' :D

Or I'd just get asked how I got a line on my forehead. That was always fun to answer.

See, what would happen to me is the teacher is like "Harmony, follow along with the class, you need to be able to do this for your homework." because of course they notice, and then I'm like "I'm already done with the worksheet, the worksheet for tomorrow, and the homework." Then everyone's quiet and I ask if I can get back to my book.

OMG the exact same thing happened to me. Sometimes people would ask me if I was okay because they would think that I was crying. :D

Except I'm actually crying from what happened in the book :)

Oh yeah. This past year in math it was exactly that. My teacher liked to drone on about random topics, and most of the time when he finally started the lesson I had already finished everything.

*that are, not what's. I know that is appropriate slang these days, but really.

Also, be impressed. I took over for Fritz, but I have no idea how to be him.

Good night, Mist needs the computer, so I'm going to bed.

I don't know, I'm leaning towards worried. The lost and found thread got taken down, and judging from context clues, it may have been because people were treating it like a dating site.

Fritz is usually very methodical, but also can get overexcited: it's like bipolar but ADD - OCD. He also has a tendency to be indecisive, and he's not particularly brave. I don't have a picture in my head aside from red hair, and possibly a scraggly beard. His epic powers: (spoilered for length)

Spoiler

 - When he falls asleep, he gets instantaneously transported to a phase space which consists of an infinite, evenly spaced atmosphere the same as Earth's atmosphere at sea level. He carries a taser-like device with him so that he can put himself to sleep. He can use this to jump long distances and travel through walls (but he's not very good at it yet)

 - Razor vision. Any hair in his line of sight (including mirrors, but excluding screens) he can cut telepathically.

His weakness is heights.

If you've already started writing him differently, go with it.

My school is super strict about paying attention in class, if you don’t, bam! Detention. They hand out detentions like a politician hands out pamphlets.

You’re late? Detention!

Forgot your pencil? Detention!

Didn’t wipe off your table after lunch? Detention!

Knocked over the church’s expired fire extinguisher and cause mass chaos all over school because the storming thing won’t stop spraying and it burns your skin and eyes? Detention!

Touch a cupcake before the Christmas concert starts? Detention! (Actually, to be accurate, you would be sniped by the GCE, but I doubt y’all know about that)

Leave fringe on the ground? Detention!

Throw a piece of trash at the trash can and miss? Detention!

Touch the holy shades? Detention!

Leave your books on the ground by your desk and cause your teacher to almost trip? Detention!

Forget your uniform tie on dress day? Detention!

To be fair, detentions aren't really that bad at my school. You just have to sit in a room for ten minutes doing nothing while the headmaster stares you down and makes you rethink your life choices. It's more psychological than anything.

My school didn't have detentions.

Tell us.

How many detentions do you get Scarletfox? What are you up to at school?

:ph34r: ehehe.... Well, I got a couple last year for being late and forgetting my gym clothes. And I would have gotten one in middle school for attempting to steal a Christmas cupcake... How was I supposed to know that the volunteers were only allowed to take the left-over cupcakes?? Back then we didn't have detentions though, we had the GCE, a scare tactic created by the older kids to keep people from doing crazy stuffs. So... yeah, I would've been sniped by the GCE's sniper, Mrs. W, but I think my friend made an appeal for me.

What's the GCE? Were you stealing the cupcake or were you just mistaken about taking it?

My school doesn't have detentions either, just like slips of paper you have to fill out in the office and like a phone call home or whatever. The rules aren't that strict so I haven't ever gotten on. But I have come close, multiple times.

I'm picturing this happening like:

Lost: My heart

Found: Your heart. Sorry, I stole it. I'll return it if you give me mine back.

I was mistaken about taking it, but that did not mean that I didn't get glares from the cupcake ladies every following Christmas concert. Oh yeah, and I got a detention.

Spoiler

I could tell you about the GCE, but then I'd have to kill you.

Spoiler

It's kind of this weird lore/rumor thing around my school. I actually had an explanation written out, but then realized that without context, it sounds super weird, so... yeah
