No wait, that wasn't right.

Rain fell from the sky. 

That didn't seem right either.

Ji looked at the sky and was promptly hit in the face with a small black bead. 

Ah, of course! Ji thought happily.

Beads fell from the sky. Suitibly Shadesmarish. She continued walking through the market, a smile on her face. A shipment had come in from far-off Silverlight, and Ji was eager to peruse the items before they were all taken.

By "Draw the Mafia's attention" I mean get killed in the night. I'm not sure if that's a thing the elims can do in this game, but it's what tends to happen in other maf-like games. Killing you anonymously would just mean the killers were elims. But if they're anonymous, it really only gives the village the faint clue that you were saying something important.

Please note that my previous experience with maf-like games is: "Mafia", "Town of Salem", and a little "Werewolf." Please understand if I use terms like "Town" or "Mafia."

Also, rip my bonding chance, I'm not gonna have signifigant material to write a 3rd post about.

To be honest I have been super busy recently, and haven't gotten a chance to do good player analysis. So I read through what had been made so far, and the logic behind lum made sense then. That is all, tho I will have more tomorrow

No problem! Use whatever terms you're comfortable with. And yes, being anonmously killed by the mafia during the night is generally something that happens in SE.

Oh dear! I forgot a point I wanted to make and inadvertantly made an excuse to make a 3rd post!

I want to remind everyone that voting on someone, anyone, increases bonding chance. Therefore, votes will not be fully built on the suspicions of the voter until said voter has bonded. Keep this in mind when determining the intent behind votes.

There is definitely anonymous evil killing in this game. 

You made a 3rd post now, but also, note that to increase bonding chance, it's 3 posts a cycle. A cycle is made up of both a day and a night turn. This has only been the first day turn.

I view the thread relatively often, but I don't post anything unless I have a sufficient chunk of contiguous free time, which is not always the case when I view the thread. While everyspren is welcome to roleclaim if they wish, I haven't felt that there are enough spren capable of immediately proving their roles that a mass claim would limit the search for Sja-Anat enough to offset the conversion information the elims would gain. Perhaps others feel as you do, in which case I would like to hear others' opinions. @Mailliw73, how will the writeup indicate the effects of vote manipulation from Inkspren and Illumination?

and someone were to use their ability as an Inkspren or Illumination to add one to Steel's vote, it would appear as thus:

I'm content to leave it at a tie. I feel there are valid reasons for both lynches, especially for a D1 lynch. It would also allow for Sart's claim to be proved, with potential consequences if he's lying. It's also distant enough that if people wanted to just place a vote on someone random without a vote on them currently, it shouldn't cause a problem.

Night 1: Chaos in Celebrant

The city of spren was in pandemonium. News of a sighting of an Unmade near the docks had spread like freedom-starved stone transformed into smoke. All sprenpeople alike had begun to panic; Honorspren looked for those they could protect, Highspren searched for the guilty spren, and Cryptics reveled in the truths and in the lies that were unfurling in quick succession. Sja-Anat had returned, and with her, mistrust and deception returned to Celebrant.

Hjalar was the first to be surrounded by others. “You were among those to first see Sja-Anat,” Rysca, the Highspren, accused. “How do we know you haven’t already been corrupted?”

Shyv and Fyrul each pointed to others as Hjalar tried to explain how she was just as uncorrupted as anyone else. Quickly the judgement began to surround others, ending with Copila and Sartras being the final two suspects.

The two groups each questioned their respective accused spren concerning their previous activities, their words, their intents, and anything else they could think of. Both the accused began shouting at each other, convinced the other must be under Sja-Anat’s influence already. The debates grew heated and lasted through the day. As the cold sun of Shadesmar began to set over the ocean of spheres, the Stormfather arrived to mediate the disputation.

“CHILDREN, PEACE. SJA-ANAT HAS NOT YET TAKEN CONTROL, BUT IF WE ALLOW HER TO SOW DOUBT, THE ENEMY WILL GAIN POWER IN THIS REALM,” he rumbled. “LET US CHOOSE THE ONE MOST UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF OUR ENEMY AND WE WILL DETAIN THEM UNTIL SJA-ANAT HAS BEEN CAPTURED OR CAST FROM AMONG US.”

The others agreed with their father and, at the last minute, one voice arguing for Sartras’s guilt silenced. It was decided then that Copila was the one to be detained. “SON, I AM SORRY,” the Stormfather reverberated. With a gesture, he commanded the Highspren to take Copila out from among the rest.

As they locked Copila away, they searched him and found only stormlight. But the Stormfather had decreed that he be contained to prevent Sja-Anat from taking him and corrupting him. “I’m sorry, Copila,” Rysca said as she locked the door. “It’s for your protection and ours.” Resolute, she turned from the Lightspren and entered the city, dark under the night sky, determined to find the enemy’s servant here, wherever the Unmade was hiding.

It appears Sart was telling the truth. I'll give him a pass for now, but vote manipulation might be a high priority target for Sja. 

I will be driving for the majority of tomorrow, and will be with my family for the holiday weekend. My activity will be limited for about 4 days.

Just saying, Sart removing the vote only proves they are not sja'anat, but there's no guarantee sja'anat started alone.

Anyway, the way the votes moved last cycle was really quite interesting, but unfortunately it'll take at least a couple of other people dying for information to be gotten out of it.

Also if sha anat didnt start alone, it doesnt clear him of being sha anat either. Though, I do believe him for now.

Ji looked at the watch. It was very nice, with a gold exterior and a crystal face. It hung on a golden chain as well, and so Ji hald it in front of her face, almost mowing down other spren as she walked. The man at the booth (and it was a man) had told her it was a pocket watch. Ji didn't really care, as long as it worked.

Darn, I missed PM time. If anyone wants to roleclaim swap before the end of the Night, I'm down for it.

As far as the lynch goes, I don't really have anything much to say. I don't particularly like the lynch on Coop, but I do understand the reasoning behind it. Seems like a pretty typical D1 lynch. I'm actually more curious about those who didn't vote. We got 14 votes out of 17, which is excellent for D1. Still, I'd like to hear from @xinoehp512, @Snipexe, and @Ark1002(looks like mentions are glitching out) about why they didn't vote. There was plenty of discussion and targets for a D1, so what held you all back?

As for Xino and Ark, they didn't post at all D1 if I remember correctly. Snipexe is the only one who posted but never voted. So, Xino and Ark just seem generally inactive.
