"Why?"

Shana asked astonished and then grabbed her bag. Smiling she offered Ben her arm to help him out to the garage.

Ben smiled back and gratefully took her arm. He was a bit surprised that Flid hadn’t been to a grocery store before, even though he had grown up in an orphanage.

Now I am curious as to what the typo was...

Shana gave him a quick kiss and grabbed their jackets. It was getting cold outside.

Ben put on his jacket, trying not to fall over when he had to let go of Shana’s arm. He somehow managed not to do so, although it was difficult. He hoped that the cold would help to wake him up somewhat, but he wasn’t too hopeful.

“I’m fine.”

He responded immediately. So far resting hadn’t done him much good, and sleeping wasn’t an option. He also needed to go to the store with them in case someone got hurt.

"Okay, but don't over exert yourself. Don't want you dying on us."

Flid opened the (Insert car here)'s door and climbed in.

"So, who's driving?"

Ben paled a little at Flid’s comment. He knew that he wasn’t going to die. Death from over exhaustion was a rare thing. Still possible though. It wouldn’t happen to him. Right? He shook his head to clear it, then took Shana’s hand and let her pull him in the car.

Ben isn’t great with knowing when someone isn’t being too serious :P

Rob followed them. He didn’t make any comment on Flid never being to a grocery store, but he guessed that would make this a great experience for him.

“If James is driving, I call shotgun,” he said, walking ahead..

Rob had never eaten hotdogs, Flid had never gone to a grocery store. And this was why it was never boring around here. Edwin hopped onto the backseat and put on the seatbelt.

James sat down in the driver's seat, and completed the necessary safety checks- it never hurt to be prepared. "All right everyone," James said doing his best 'flight attendant' imitation, "Fasten your seatbelts as we prepare for takeoff."

Ben followed James’s instructions, although with his shaking arm it took him two tries.

As do I. I don’t want to hold things up for the prom timeskip.

Same here. We can narrate it.

Shana closed her seatbelt and took Ben's hand. Smiling she looked out of the window. She liked them, liked them all. They were her family and she would never exchange them for somebody else.
