Oh!  I also want to tell you guys that my 66 year old Dad loves Brandon Sanderson.  He retired last year and had a lot of free time on his hands, so my sisters and I dumped a bunch of Sanderson books on him and he finished them all in a matter of months.  B)

I saw the title and I thought this thread would be about "The Age of The Stormlight Fans."  Something like all the Stormlight fans take over society and rule for a thousand years :D

Oh, and I'm 37

I just turned 15. I started reading with the reckoners then my brother tried to read WoK out loud then gave up but a month or two later I started reading it and enjoy it very much this was about 2 1/2 years ago.

I am 21 and actually read the Rythmatist and the Reckoners back in middle school and did not like them that much. About year and half ago, I read Elantris, SA, Warbreaker, Mistborn Era 2, and the Arcanum and became a fullborn Cosmere nut. I spent days reading the coppermind and here I am now, posting during Differential Equations class instead of paying attention to bacterial decay rates.

@ILuvHats Heh, I am surprised that you are 19 as well. Your hat made me think you were older, for some reason... no idea why :-)

But there are people with a lot of posts who are young. I know that both Kidpen and Steeldancer are younger than you and me, for example.

Yeah, I knew Steeldancer and StrikerEZ were younger.  I didn't know about Kidpen though.

Would you happen to have an AP Stats teacher who’s name rhymes with Mr. Pasalini?

No, I have a female stat teacher

I'm three weeks away from turning 28 and picked up Mistborn last summer, then read everything else cosmere related during the next half a year. Best thing apart from the actual stories is that these books have got me back into drawing as well:D

I'm 29, born 1989, and also discovered Brandon through Wheel of Time (my current favourite Fantasy series). Imagine my sheer enjoyment to find that he had written my (now joint)-favourite series!

Do you know, when I first saw this post I thought it was for players of a new online game called "Age of Stormlight" ;)

(I originally wrote "computer game" there, which is probably showing my age...)

Reminds me of an old cartridge game that we used to get

Don't forget to blow on the bottom of it!:D

I'm 20. I started about a year and a half ago, the same week I turned 19 I think, and surprisingly enough, I still have to read Mistborn Era 2. When you like both books and videogames life can get expensive.

Why only a 1000?  Why not forever?? Mauh hahaha.

I started reading Sanderson about 3 years ago.  I'm 32 now.  My 10 year old has listened to the audiobooks with me and he seems interested. One of these days I'll get him hooked!

The poll shows most people in 25-34 range, but the age brackets before that are smaller. If you weight each option by the number of ages represented it looks like teenagers are the most represented per year.

Not to say the poll is wrong/bad, as these ranges are a logical way to group things. Just saying that it's misleading about the distribution by age. :)

I thought I alone with a few people in my age group and everyone else is 20s-30s. Still young at 14 but now I feel less out of my water knowing that I'm not alone!
