That was at LTUE.
Kestrel she/her Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Mistborn: Secret History. Finished it in an hour. Might not have been my brightest idea, but man was it good.

(Best way to get me to buy your book is to do a signing near me. Rarely fails.)
Zathoth Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 House of LeavesWelcome to Night Vale Calamity Songs of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe by Thomas Ligotti and of course some more Dresden Files. Side Jobs and Proven Guilty. I am incapable of buying books without at least picking up another Dresden Files. They are just so quick and cheap. Not sure what I will do once I catch up...
Curiosity he/him Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I walked into the store looking for a scantron. Walked out with a Prelude to Foundation (Asimov). And a scantron.
Sunbird she/her Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I am incapable of buying books without at least picking up another Dresden Files. They are just so quick and cheap. Not sure what I will do once I catch up... Read The Aeronaut's Windlass! Or the Iron Druid Chronicles! Or the Magic Ex Libris series!
Zathoth Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Read The Aeronaut's Windlass! Or the Iron Druid Chronicles! Or the Magic Ex Libris series! I should do exactly that XD Or The Furies of Calderon...
Briar King Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 I should do exactly that XD Or The Furies of Calderon... Well I imagine you ll do like the rest of us and foam at the mouth waiting for next one. Read Alera afterward for sure. Bk 1 is the hardest for some but keep going. Alera is easily my num 1 reco to people. It's insanely fun and also makes a great re read in 5 yrs time.

Zathoth Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 This thing is bigger than my face. You could probably kill someone with the hardcover. And then I got American Gods, The Furies of Calderon and The Broken Eye.
Left he/him Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 So I bought these last week, but I forgot this thread existed The Chosen by Chaim Potok My Name is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok Dune by Frank Herbert
Sunbird she/her Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Today I ordered the latest John Cleaver book by Dan Wells, Over Your Dead Body, and Kill Shakespeare Vol 2 since none of my local libraries have a copy of it.
Quiver he/him Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Last book I picked up was The Iron King by Maurice Druon. I'm not really a fan of historical novels, since I nevermore how right they are...but having GRRM's recommendation makes a compelling argument.
