Explanation for people who haven't read Warbreaker:

 

Tarachin is a ball game from the novel Warbreaker. One of the main characters is particularly good at it, so I guess that would make him a superstar.

Tarachin is the ball game Lightsong the Bold plays with the Returned Weatherlove, Lifeblesser, and Truthcall. You might remember it as the game which he doesn't understand, but somehow excels at.

Well, I've managed to pass the ranks of the Truthless, and along with it the corresponding Observer User Title (OUT) of "BAD LIAR". I became a sentient awakened object commanded by the OUT to "CREATE GOLDFISH" because callbacks to the cosmere zombie thread are the best callbacks. Now I am a Cryptic, Speaker of the Vast Lie, bane of people in bathtubs and hater of sissy creationspren! Kneel before my political power!

Sombra always kind of reminded me of a Shard. I think it's his mustiness- it made me think of Ruin.

Anyway, Sombra returned after being "defeated" (by the Oathpact). It was expressly stated that if he destroyed the crystal empire, fear and hatred would spread thought the rest of Equestria (the commerce). In response to this, hi jinks happened, culminating in Shining Armor getting all shiny (storm light).

TLDR; Pony Surge Bingers are a thing.

Cannon has two n's, as in cannon fodder.  Canon, as in body of knowledge or dogma, doesn't have the double letter.

I believe this has come up before. The ranks aren't related to physical or political power, but are simply tied to obscurity and an arbitrary ranking of general awesomeness. Spearmen might be placed higher in Alethi society, but we the readers are far more emotionally invested in the bridgemen.

I think being trained by Kaladin and dying in a bridge run would be cooler than getting stuck having to fight for someone like Sadeas and getting slaughtered by Alethi warriors.
