GreyPilgrim he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 It was referring to Amaram's organization. (Though the connection between the two is definitely worth discussing) Very well then. I was quite surprised when I saw that that was the name of the organization, though. Indeed worth discussion.
TenSoon he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 (edited) For those of you who want to know what the new ranks are, I recommend you look at this link before you go and spend hours trying to work it out yourself... like I did. I will never get those 4 hours of my life back. Things could be worse... I could be a zucchini... Edited May 17, 2014 by TenSoon 2
Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I hate to take the wind out of your sails but lord Claincy Fnord has been keeping a running list going over on the New Reputation Levels thread: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/7084-new-reputation-levels/?p=116468
TenSoon he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Thanks for telling me about that, Awesomeness Summoned, as it was way more advanced than mine. And it took me 4 hours just to gather what I had... How long did it take that person??? P.S. I've removed the link, as it is now redundant.

It took me around 2-3 hours to get it up to scratch when the rep levels initially changed to the current ones. But there was a lot less information to gather then and I have no idea how many times I have updated the list since. There are pages of replies in that thread of people giving me information on the boundaries and ranks as they discovered them. So really it was quite the community effort It's much easier now, I only have to update it every few days. It sounds like you put a good effort into your list, let me know if you noticed anything that I got wrong I suppose that Hoid would note how much people value timing Edited May 17, 2014 by lord Claincy Ffnord
Curiosity he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I sort of miss being a spren... Please don't downvote this just because I said that! 2
Aether he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 And I miss being a Scadrian Waffle Cook. Ah, those were the times! 2
Kobold King he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 And I miss being a Scadrian Waffle Cook. Ah, those were the times! Who says a Returned can't cook waffles?
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 They can tell the exact amount of browning a perfect waffle needs! 1
Aether he/him Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I thought I had already established that I make my Waffles with hate, not colour recognition!Should work with other waffle making techniques, though. 2
Delightful Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 So I'm finding the image of a Newcargo princess as a Dakhor monk to be more than slightly disturbing.... 1
Quiver he/him Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 You know, I think being a Son of Honor suits me rather well.
GREENMONSTA he/him Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Well this is interesting. Quite possibly one of the main reasons I loved TWG and here it is in all its glory. Well a shadow of that glory at least. Anyway, I think I will partake. I may be lowly and feeble now but we shall see for how long.
GREENMONSTA he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 It appears this thread isnt nearly as popular as I had hoped. Apparently a lowly Darkeyes like me can just strut right in and own the place. Well if thats the case then everyone from the apparently highly ranked "kandra" (who I assume are fairly weak and un threatening) to the "spren" (who as we all know are easily frightened little pests) can just sit back and bask in my glory. 1
little wilson she/her Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Oh, yes. The times of the Stupid Titles of TWG.... I remember fondly the days of being a part of the Coalition, providing food when I worked in a soup kitchen (and watching some sketchy/painful snowboarding by certain reckless male members of said coalition). My days as a hermit are remembered less-fondly. But such is the case. Now I am an Arbiter, and it is a grand thing!....sort of. And Monsta, I bask in no one's glory. Except my own. Oh, and welcome back. Nice to see an old face around.
GREENMONSTA he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I tried to go back and just browse the old threads. I say tried because I ended up reading for around 45 minutes. Good times were had in the Coalition. Although admittedly patrol duty in the woodlands was pretty boring on occasion. The snowboarding may have been reckless but I stand by my decision to partake. Arbiter huh? Well That role seems fitting. The sad thing is these other sad posters wont bother even posting, let alone have any sort of grievance for you to be arbiter of. Makes me wonder. . . kind of like being a judge of nothing. Sounds fulfilling. I actually think that being a Darkeyes isn't too bad. I mean I could be a renegade soldier or "mercenary". I seem to remember having some experience in such things. Well seeing as how we were once part of the Woodland Coalition together I don't expect any basking from you. Everyone else on the other hand. . . Oh and look at Chaos getting all important and stuff. I would be impressed but I somehow cant see to muster the ability. Good to be back. These titles have renewed my drive and perhaps we can whip this sorry lot into creating some entertaining posting. Also helps that I picked up Word of Radiance and had to check things out back here.
little wilson she/her Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Uh oh, Monsta. Looks like you might be out a pair of boots here soon. I shall use my role as official arbiter to suggest you just hand them over without a fight. If you don't, Swimmingly will go all eloquent on you.....which could actually be hilarious, now that I think about it. Hm. I change my advice. KEEP THE BOOTS. 2
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I believe this brings us to a second, more pressing point of order: You're a fishy greenmonsta. I'm a monstrous green fish. THIS TOWN AIN'T BIG ENOUGH FOR THE TWO OF US. 2
GREENMONSTA he/him Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) Look at what we have here. A little life on the thread. I say little because who is scared of a fish? Honestly? I mean as long as I stay away from any large body of water you aren't too intimidating. I will not now, nor will I ever willingly surrender my boots or anything else to a fish. I do wonder though. . . What kind of Savant can a fish be? Bottom feeding maybe? Oh wait, maybe its running and hiding from the real predators of the sea. Now if offending the general public of this thread is what it takes to get something stirring here then all offense was intended. If that is what it takes for people to stand up and speak then so be it. Oh Im sorry, fish dont stand. Well in that case you can swim near the shore and watch in envy as others stand. EDIT* Oh forgive me for not noticing until now. Half the people we used to talk with on here are all moderators or admins or other such things. What has happened to the world? little wilson, erogonal, rainbowrose, chaos. This is a crazy twilight zone type thing right? Edited May 31, 2014 by GREENMONSTA
Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Those are some mighty big fightin' words seeing as how they are coming from a giant letter 'B'.
little wilson she/her Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Careful, Wes. He just changed that B. To an even brighter B. I'm not sure I'd offend the Bostonian. That's my arbiter advice.
GREENMONSTA he/him Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Ahhh my apologies. I had forgotten that season is over for us. Is this B more appropriate? Or should I change it the the mascot of the first B I had. Thats a fairly intimidating animal. I could do that (Any they love eating fish). To be honest I couldnt tell you what your icon depicts but it appears fearsome. Although I guess that depends on its scale. Now I will say that Kandra as a whole dont really scare me. I mean they interest me sure. But intimidate. . . ehh not so much.
GREENMONSTA he/him Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I would listen to little wilson here. She is wise
little wilson she/her Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Now I will say that Kandra as a whole dont really scare me. I mean they interest me sure. But intimidate. . . ehh not so much. What about after they kill you and eat your body, impersonating you? Although, I guess you'd be dead then. Not many emotions going on there in deadland. So what if you saw said killing, devouring, and impersonating happen right in front of you...?
