An eggplant explodeup in the sky in a burst of purple. Its ashy remains fell into the grass, and the eggplant was no more.

Sophie cried. Sobbed, really. She was only 4 pages away from her 150th birthday. She could hear the other Narrators trying to destroy the plot, but it was no use. Plot was the family curse. And she couldn't escape it.
