They stand in the middle of a clearing in a forest, filled with flowers, its only real feature a small house off to one side.

Asharak seemed slightly distracted, but turned to Erryin. "Hello, Erryin." He smiled slightly, sadly, knowingly. Then he turned to Taeidin. "And hello, Taeidin. Seems I arrived just in the nick of time." His lips twitched, laughing at a joke that it seemed only he understood.

Shatter turned to face Glass and Storm. “I have heard of a Clearing where they can go to live out their days in peace,” he said.

I’ve indirectly, and without meaning to, added to the lore of TLT

Yippee

Ok, continue on. I was never here

Erdikan glances around quickly, considering his options. Not many; he already had done what he came here for. “Fine.”

"Good. As predicted. Are you bringing along any of your friends?"

Oh. Huh.

Well, this is a different clearing. You're partially here to fulfill Asharak's Plotblade quest before he takes you onward.

Erdikan hesitates, glancing at them. He waves a hand and shadows engulf them wholly. When it clears, they are gone. “Just me.”

"Ah. Good." Rirrom brought his hands together and then separated them, revealing a plane of stars between them.

"After you."

Erdikan strode through the plane, not really sure what Rirrom had in mind. Though, he supposed, they could always use more connections.

Rirrom followed behind, closing the portal behind. They eventually arrived in a twisted hallway that resembled Urithiru- although this wasn't actually Rirrom's home, it was a place where he had more power.

"So, tell me, what do you know about Plotblades?"

“They are weapons of immense power that follow common story tropes and can influence reality according to them.”

"Very well." Rirrom said, clasping his hands behind his back. "There are numerous Plotblades known throughout TLT. Vengeance. Character development. Foreshadowing. All of these are well known."

His voice suddenly dropped to a whisper. "But there is one, one more powerful than all others. The only one that, to this day, has been made more deadly than it ever should be. And I need you to retrieve that for me."

Erdikan considered in silence for a few moments. There were multiple that likely fit such a description, though he could only guess which Rirrom was thinking of.

“What makes you think I would do this for you?”

"If you do not, I will kill you and everyone you hold dear to you." Rirrom said simply. "There is simply no other choice."

Aelinor had barely moved since kneeling down, staring off into space with a very hollow look. She barely reacted when Rebus appeared, and even less when Unintelligible addressed her. When she finally spoke, her voice was quiet and level, purposefully devoid of emotion.
"She..." she started slowly. "Would have wanted... To be buried beside Fuzzy. And Cardinal. On her world, by the lake." She kept her eyes fixed forward, unblinking. "I don't know about a second choice. Nowhere else is special to her quite like... there." Slowly, avoiding looking at Sequence, Aelinor reached down and picked up Conflict where it sat on the ground beside Sequence. She spared a glance towards Rebus. "... I'll help you find somewhere."

"Yes," Unintelligible said, voice hoarse. "She would want to be buried there. Wherever we bury her... we should make certain we can move her body, once Ivisyre is dead." Unintelligible's hands tightened into fists at the thought of Everyone, probably laughing with glee at the way this had all turned out. Well, he would make certain that bastard didn't laugh for long. He would...

Not right now. Bury Sequence, then...

Unintellgible closed his eyes. "I think she would like to be buried somewhere peaceful." His voice was hollow, fragile. "Nameless... He built his house on a world made to be peaceful. It is not as fleshed out as Sequence's world, but I am sure we could find a place there to place her for the moment."

She nodded and wiped her face, taking a step back.

". . . I guess we'll see, huh?"

"We'll see." he smiled faintly.

"I find there is always another story to tell," whispered a Nameless voice. "And new characters often bring new joy with them.”

Aelinor pursed her lips, recalling her last few moments on Sequence’s World. The chaos, the destruction, the earthquakes… “… Maybe we shouldn’t count on being able to move her. Even if her planet will one day be safe again, it won’t be the same.” She got to her feet slowly, cradling Conflict in her ruined hands. It was difficult, but she managed to hold it long enough to dismiss it quietly. When it vanished, she found herself looking down at Sequence. She immediately shuddered and turned away, desperately avoiding looking…

”Just somewhere peaceful…” She said with a swallow and a shaky sigh. “Will have to do, I think.”

Erdikan frowned. He hated it when he had an Author; things like this always ended up happening.

“So let’s say I decide to go along with your plan. Which Plotblade would I be looking for?”

As he spoke, he discreetly flashed hand signals behind his back.

18142 was no longer there, however. A sophon heard what Renn said, though. Renn saw words floating in the air in front of him, though it was actually just the sophon moving really fast through his retinas. The words said:

"How do these gods of yours work?"

“Well, they are immortal in that they cannot die unless killed by a powerful enough thing. For instance, that man, Rebus, I think would easily be able to kill one. I am uncertain if any other people I conversed with would be strong enough. There was one, I think the name was Taedin or similar who may also have the strength.

What offensive capabilities do you have?

In terms of powers, it’s all different.

I have been endowed with powers from other Gods, as each have their domains.

For instance, Graelth is the God of the Elements, and as such as dominion over them, being able to control them at will.

Other powers vary from just physical powers. Tarag is the Goddess of the Mind, and can access immense amounts of information as well as device the senses.

They are all fairly simple raw powers”

"The Plotblade I want you to find is called Plot Significance," Rirrom said softly, "It has not been seen for over thousands of pages, but if found again, its true power could once again be wielded."

Rirrom passively began tying Erdikan back to this plane in case of a teleport out or any shenanigans. It wasn't likely that his friend would try anything, and it was even less likely that anything would work, but it was always good to have countermeasures.

They run from the scene, but after going a little bit, find that they are not going anywhere as the area around them shifts to put them right back where they were due to Rirrom’s Narration.

“…what?” He takes a threatening step forward, then notices Taeidin and Erryin escaping and spins away. He merges through the shadows, appearing directly next to them and grabbing Taeidin by the wrist. Taeidin cries out as a burning sensation flooded him and wrenches away, eyes wide. The humming of the door grows louder until it deafens out all other noises, white rays popping out of it that slice through the smoky air.

@Kansas Stormcursed now would be an great time to get them out of there.

Erryin looked panicked.
