Basically the technical term for someone who only experiences sexual attraction allosexual is the opposite of asexual I just say I’m aromantic tho and just leave it at that and if they pry then they pry and make it awkward I’m pretty sure sensual and sexual attraction are relatively the same thing. Sensual can mean like sexy/sexual so you should totally listen. It’s a vibe for us aromantics

Bro That sucks My parents don’t understand aromanticism either, and when I try and explain to them what exactly is up with me it doesn’t go well I just let it drop now. Talk about it with my also aro or ace friends and just let it rest. It’s not worth the arguments and misunderstandings and the constant being told “you’re just confused” or “you haven’t met the right person yet” (bleh) That last part tho. Ick. People need to back the hell up sometimes (a lot of the time) anyways any of my aro-spec buddies: have yall ever like taken (vague) love songs as platonic? ‘Cause a lot of them have some good messages/lyrics that work with platonic love and I do so enjoy taking them as that I am a decently lovey person and I do want to have things that relate to that but there are so many love songs. I have another nickname I use for online stuff, but ryn is typically my alias for things I don't mind if online people read or see my creative stuff, but it keeps it away from irl people who I don’t like seeing my endeavors (because judgement and self consciousness)

Yeah, “Ryn” is extremely rarely used literally, outside of online one person uses it that’s kinda why I chose it, give it some actual use the only thing is if I started taking about my other nicknames people have given me publicly, people could figure out me full name

Why thank you i thought my online presence should be specific to me in some form I really own the credit to one of my friends who insisted he give me a nickname

Like, in general why I chose it as my user? It’s a very rarely used irl nickname and I thought it sounded cool the “rynturning light” thing had more symbolism because I’m just like that(TM)
