All of this led to Moni waking up alone in the underworld instead of a nice cozy house filled with guests.

“Hey!” Sequence shouted. ”Did you kill Nameless?”

[NameIess]

Moni glanced at Sequence, confused. "Where am I? Why did you bring me here?"

[ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them]

Sequence shrugged. “Sometimes I narrate things without realizing it, I guess. Anyways, why did you kill Nameless? Also where have you been? Like 100 pages ago when the prophesy stuff was all the rage, Nameless said he had to find you for whatever reason.”

[NameIess]

"Oh, yeah. He found me."

“… What happened? Nameless always struck me as the ‘invincible’ type.”

[NameIess]

"Oh. I just-" Moni broke off, staring at something that Sequence couldn't see. "Really? That's stupid and annoying. Why shouldn't I- Fine, alright. I get it." She sighed, turning back to Sequence. "Can't say."

Sequence narrowed her eyes. “Are you talking to Nameless’s ghost or something?”

[NameIess]

"No. It's my Author. Something about "ruining the story" if I tell you."

Sequence sighed. “So we’re going to get context at some point?”

[NameIess]

"How am I supposed to know? All my Author said was to only speak of the event in extremely cryptic terms, or else I would meet with a terrible fate."

“Sounds about right. Enjoy your day, I guess.”

That was when the chouta ghost attacked.

Everyone was terrified.

Chouta ghosts usually had that effect on people.

Indeed. And this chouta ghost was even more terrifying than normal.

Moni had a feeling. Something was at work nearby. That was when a dark figure stepped out of a burst of sparks.

Moni looked at the dark figure with an eyebrow raised. "Hello. What are you doing here?"

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

Thaidakar sighed, the shadows around his head dissipating. "I'm here to make a few things clear... Your author would be pleased to note that I have a device to make this offscreen."

[NameIess]

"Oh, hi Thaidakar. Weren't you dead?"

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

"I am dead. I just happen to want to know what happened with Nameless."

[NameIess]

"Well, sorry but I can't say."

"hence my offscreen talking device. I'm sure your author would approve. It would add to the mystery of the story."
