Meanwhile, Quitty came back to the kitchen to find all the waffles gone and consumed. She was concerned as there was Wafflerasium in those waffles that made them sentient. She shrugged, made another batch, and left it there for the hungry and unsuspecting.

The waffles grew appendages and escaped.
