Nin refused to give guidance, stating that he wished for his apprentice to gain wisdom, which meant he must make his own decisions.

Nin read the contract to make sure he wanted to agree to it. He was somewhat suspicious of contracts, since his soul had been split into so many pieces because of them, and Nin had needed to retrieve the pieces.

The elephant, then, was very grateful Nin's apprentice had signed the contract. He was also excited to help Nin's apprentice on his quest.

He informed the elephant of this, and told him of his quest to get a R.C.M.P. and a hamburger. He also asked what benefits he had obtained from this contract

But Nin's apprentice didn't care about that. He discovered that the contract gave him a great power to help him on his quest, and that power was...
