Nameless smiled back, eyes glowing. "THE DERIVATIVE OF 17SIN(x^2+13x)+ARCTAN{e^[COS(x^2)]} IS 17COS(x^2+13x)*(2x+13)+1/{1+e^[COS(x^2)]}*e^[COS(x^2)]*-SIN(x^2)*2x" He exploded with pure mathematical power, blasting all the attackers to the ground.

It's part of how I organize universes and worlds in books and it is somewhat fluid, starting with universe (a core possibility), plane(related core possibilities), Planar groups("close" planes), and world sets(separated planar groups, one for each book series.). the way the skeins use it, it means planar groups, which are far enough apart to be distinctly different and have odd reactions with creatures from them.

Cool! There thing is, all the universes that are contained within the Longest Thread share the same underlying metaphysics. They should be able to use their energy in any of them, should they not?

TOC frowned and then summoned his ultimate weapon, Rond's calculations, which never made sense.

"An interesting weapon. You should have started with this." Nameless shrugged. "But now, you are too late." On the other side of the room, Rond was standing up, supported by two Namelesses.

Rond then immediately fell back down, his wound gushing out black smoke. TOC smiled, "no, you are too late."

Meanwhile Rond's final experiment awoke. 

the experiment groaned, it felt like someone had destroyed him and remade him repeatedly every few seconds for a thousand years. the experiment yawned. the experiment decided to call itself, Word.

Word stood up, or atleast tried to. his forehead was met by a block of wood. Word rubbed his forehead and whispered, "ow!"

He nearly jumped into the block of wood again, was that how his voice sounded like?

Nameless looked at Rond. "Ah. A pity, that." Rond appeared next to him, unharmed. Across the room, Rond's body still lay on the floor. "So, Rond. You want to come to my party?"

Rond was still dead however and his second body fell to the floor again, black smoke gushing from every pour.

TOC laughed. 

Meanwhile, Word opened his eyes, it was pitch black so he couldn't tell the difference between when he opened or eyes or the opposite.

Nameless laughed too. "So, the original is finally completely dead? Excellent. I can continue with my plans then."

TOC smiled wryly, "no, Rond is dead, dead. you made sure of that Nameless. I may have changed that mark of yours a bit. making Rond die no matter what."

Nameless turned his back to TOC, striding to inspect Rond's corpse. "That mark. I could not convince Thaidakar to let me simply kill him. Ah well. I knew Rond would get himself killed eventually, and that mark ensured he would have no chance discover my plans before he did."

TOC said, "presenting, Rond's final experiment, the indubitable, UNINTELLIGIBLE!"

TOC smiled, he turned to Unintelligible and said what sounded like gibberish, "air plane, horse, water, shoe horn, tree, leaves, NAMELESS!" 

Unintelligible froze, he cringed and his eyes turned yellow. Unintelligible quivered and seemed to grow more muscular and intimidating by the moment.

TOC grinned, "and thus rises Unintelligible, bane of Nameless."

Unintelligible turned to Nameless and attacked.

Nameless sighed. "Of course Rond would do that. You know Unintelligible didn't really have any powers, right? Anyways, where was I? Oh yes." Nameless exploded with rage. "You DARE do this to Unintelligible? You DARE disrespect his sacrifice?" Nameless blasted TOC into nonexistence, then turned to face the abomination he had named Unintelligible.
