It was really weird, except they were used to it.

Nameless was leading a rebellion against the salt overlords. It wasn't going well.

the rebellion was stockpiling pancakes

[Condensation she/her]

But not waffles, as those were McWafy's.

[Mist she/her]

They were planning to use the three-colored pancakes to intimidate the Salt Overlords by sheer force of sweetness. 

[Condensation she/her]

Because the Salt Overlords hated sweetness.

[Mist she/her]

Sweetness was the leader of the rebellion, so of course they didn't like each other. 

[Condensation she/her]

Sweetness was really nice, and she wasn't really a fan of the Salt Overlords. They were too sassy for her.

or anyone for that matter

Edit: to be clear, I meant the salt overlords were too sassy for anyone.

Except for the Spicelands Highking.

and then baby flying bison descended, making adorable baby flying bison sounds.

Ninjas were riding the baby bison.

I'm hilarious.

Both the baby bison and ninjas were very cute.

But the Salt lords had organized an ambush, and they put the bison, and ninjas under fire.

The fire was extinguished immediately due to the insane cuteness

The fire burned in a hovering brazier.

And so a gerbil threw crystals inside it

[Condensation she/her]

So that the fire, which had orange eyes, could use its super strength.

[Turtle they/them]

but then the crystals where counteracted by the bison's insane cuteness!

[Condensation she/her]

So the fire no longer had super strength.

[Chasmgoat he/him]

Instead it had super awkwardness

[Condensation she/her]

So it blushed and died down to an Ember.

which fell from the sky
