I do not believe that the unmade were "almost certainly people." I just think they were something before being corrupted. I still stand by that something being the Dawnsingers. I could see that. I just wish we knew more about what the dawnsingers were.

Why would the Fused that imitate Windrunner abilities cause Syl pain? Could it be possible that the Fused are bonded with an Honor Spren that has been corrupted somehow, similar to shardblades, and that is why Syl reacts like she has? What do you all think? We have Syl's word that her aunt used to hunt other spren so we know they can harm each other in the CR somehow. My guess is the attack from the Fused was combined with an attack from their voidspren. 1 hour ago, Toaster Retribution said: I doubt Voidbinding is just copying. I expect some level of similarity, but also a lot of differences. For example, can the Fused summon Voidblades (I hope they can, it sounds cool). So would Nightblood be closer to a shardblade or a voidblade? 1 hour ago, Ramza1890 said: So how does everyone think Jasnah and Kaladin will get along? Jasnadin is officially shipped. 2

I think Nightblood is his own thing entirely. Shardblades are from Honor, Voidblades from Odium. Nightblood was created with Endowments investiture.

Calderis he/him Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 And I know I'm way behind, but I did not expect everyone to be back in Urithiru. That said, I'm glad he put the Shallan chapter at the end. If we got the Shallan chapter first I would have wondered what was up. Her arc was obviously over, and a new chapter from her at the end screams "something is up!" Following Kaladin's unexpected arrival, that something seemed to be already explained. This way was very well done. Kudos Brandon. 2
mariapapadia she/her Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I just started screaming in the metro !!!!! I am .... Ohhhhh god! I m actually on my way to a bookstore to check if they happen to have the book. I will probably start crying either way 5

Mah'alleinir he/him Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) Hey, everyone seems to be shipping for the windspren=shardplate thing, and I do not say it may not be, but I thought worth mentioning that there was a chapter back in WoR where Kaladin, Lopen, Rock and some other experimented with Kal's powers and when he stuck a rock to the chasm wall they mentioned there were spren inbetween, can't remember which kind. Soo, I'm just saying that maybe windbreaking was something similar and that's why there where spren involved. Similarities, both time adhesion was involved Differences, first time Kal infused a rock, second time seem to have infused spren directly Edited November 7, 2017 by Mah'alleinir 1

I highly doubt he is there child, that seems a bit ridiculous. I think it's just because he is bonded with an Honour spren. Though I've also thought that maybe he would call all humans that? Or just Alethi maybe

It's a good thing the shipping wars participants aren't writing the series. Shallan would end up married to three different guys (each more unlikely than the last--heck, one of them would probably be Drehy), Jasnah would hook up with Vasher, Sebarial would marry Elhokar, and Kaladin would enter into a domestic partnership with the stick. Meanwhile, Moash chats up every chull he meets but keeps striking out/being chased away by annoyed chullhandlers. And Lopen is dating chouta. 7

Because this was during the highstorm, we are not really sure how much stormlight it took to fuel this power. I wonder if Kaladin could carry enough gems to fuel this outside a storm. I'm guessing no. That means that if something needs to be accomplished that requires a lot of stormlight -- it best be done during a highstorm. So I don't think we will be lucky enough to see this again for awhile because of the sheer amount of stormlight it required. 1
Nathrangking he/him Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Behold Voidbinding!!! Then there is the mellowing of the stormfather good to see the blackthorn rubbing off on him. And now we have a true lord of the winds Kaladin the parter of highstorms!!! 1

Then most of the humans on Roshar would be their descendants. (unless a world-hopper decided to stay on the planet and have kids) 2
