Yeah, I did bring this up mostly as a reaction to a joke and while many a thing in here started as a joke, I'm not exactly pushing the idea. So no need to worry yet. The fate of the universe is still safe. Edit: And if we're actually treating this as a potential thing now, I should mention that it comes pretty close to the no resurrection rule. I'd say it doesn't break it, out of it being closer to a mix between an artifical resurrection PI and just brainwashing somebody into behaving like Nighthound, than actually bringing him back to life, but I can easily see it being too close for people to just disqualify it on that alone. Hemalurgic Headshot he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I"M ALIVE!!! Truly sorry for the absence, and anything that it might have caused. I'll just say that now. I'll also say that you guys are amazing writers! Superb stuff in the thread! Now that I'm back in the scheme of things, I'll have to start pulling my weight. A few ideas: One, I would like Liam and Kokichi to interact with as many PCs as possible, just for the fun of it. In RP-Time, they are currently cruising through Sherwood Park, where the Alb-Gov't Cycle patrol is about to spring upon them. This will cause a car chase, some nice action, and then my plan is that they chance upon Riley. Riley is a very interesting person, because he views his powers as a curse. His life was fine until Calamity came. Additionally, he hates the Albertan Government, so I think that will be the grounds for his intervention. Once Riley deals with the cycle patrol, it will be the nudge to get the van out of Sherwood Park and into the city. Once the crew is in the city, anything can happen.

I would LOVE to have Nighthound return. He is one of my favorite characters in the whole RP, and I actually originally thought of Jacklyn as a character enslaved by him. You guys will probably think I'm weird, but I really like Nighthound instead of hating him. 2 hours ago, Hemalurgic Headshot said: I"M ALIVE!!! If they could get Nicroburst involved in the story that would be great. 66% of my characters are really reactionary.
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 How many posts is there on an average page of a question thread?
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Ah. I thought it was based on length. If so, then we can calculate how many posts there have been in question threads.

The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 That was my equivalent of a facepalm emoji.
The Swan Dragon he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 What's the relationship between Epoch and the government again? I'm thinking about the Kokichi/Liam situation. Because that's something I could see Phytomagnet/Ironwood being involved in.
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) It could be like a two-face thing. EDIT: To clarify, I meant like two personalities in one body. Edited August 1, 2018 by The Young Pyromancer
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Depends on whether they were an Epic in the first place. If so, because of motivator interference, they would each have their powersets. Otherwise, I don't know. EDIT: Or maybe it could be like the Hulk! Or is that too similar to PP? Edited August 1, 2018 by The Young Pyromancer
The Swan Dragon he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I could, though I won't be home with my laptop for several hours. That could actually work nicely though, since I could immediately Segway into Ironwood prepping backup for now potentially two major situations (Red/Impact & Kokichi&Liam).

I'll write my post when I can update both at once. Sure. I'll start putting some ideas together. Right now Ironwood and Phytomagnet won't be actually moving towards either situation, but they'll be informed about them and trying to get security and such organized. I might try and work in the plant structures, that could make the chase interesting.

I just noticed the -- what're those words right beneath the name-- on your profile thingy. What's that a reference to? For some reason, I have a strong need for Quietus to carry Red at some point. The rank? Ah yes. Two of the many titles of Matrim Cauthon. Also called The Prince of Ravens, the Gambler, among others. A slightly more serious version of Hoid. One of the three ta'veren from Two Rivers.

I'd say an Epic likely wouldn't be able to be taken over, both because of interference and also because Nighthounds power itself doesn't work on Epics.

But first, it might also involve the Honourable Rachel Notley, Premier of Edmonton (@Comatose). 15 hours ago, Edgedancer said: You jest, but I remember messing with people by implying a horror sequel style follow up where somebody trying to make a full set of Nighthound Motivators ends up getting effectively possessed by him. So basically, this would happen specifically to an unpowered person, who also badly wants a healing motivator, and is one of the few unpowered people with the means to get one? The universe must really, really hate Taya... Edited August 1, 2018 by Drake Marshall
Voidus Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I'm assuming there were no Epics in that group of enforcers?
Voidus Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Just now, winter devotion said: The ones at Red? Or Impact, either really.
The Swan Dragon he/him Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 If possible, would it work to hold off on escalating much with Impact until I have Phytomagnet and Ironwood discussing plans? Though I could also do it as a "5 minutes before" or something.

I don’t know why I drew this but take a drawing of Quietus and Red being adorable sociopaths. Reveal hidden contents Side note but any chance you do digital art too?
