1) As GOH it would be contradicted by the real victim.

2) And no one would make an attack on the first turn unless they're evil b/c no information.

3) I'm not going to vote Joe yet b/c I want to see his response, but thats where my vote will go unless I become convinced of a different argument by the end of the day.

1) Not necessarily, if the eliminators pulled a WGG or the victim wasn't informed, but that is somewhat unlikely

2) I mean, we know the CoA have to kill all GoH and vice verca, so Joe could be a Child hoping to take out a GoH. It would actually be a better deal than a vig kill in a normal game, since he'd hypothetically have a <50% of hitting an ally. Plus, if Joe had nightblood, he could have attacked knowing it would only kill evil!PK

3) I agree with this. Joe has been one of the most helpful players so far, so I'm hesitant to kill him off out of hand. I also don't particularly like absolutes. It does look suspicious, though

TLDR: Don't make absolutes until we know the specifics or possible extenuating circumstances

Blue is for OOG stuff only. If you want to do something else, I suggest something like Purple.

Has any current Roshar inhabitant posted in thread?

One or more people I know of who said they were going to Roshar have posted in thread. Why do you ask?

Yep, I have... Any reason?

Rip lynch discussion

I would like to wait and hear Joes take on all this before we consider this lynch completely decided. Perhaps if he is persuasive and I find out who got me sick I'll vote for them instead.

I wasn't sure if the plague was preventing them from communicating

Ah, you're on Roshar? I thought you were a surprise 3rd GM or something, since I didn't see you on a quick scan of the signup thread

Sorry for the double post! I would combine them but I don't think I can on mobile

Doesn't matter, still rip lynch discussion. What are we going to discuss? Joe. Who will end up having votes? Joe. Or votes end up on PK, if Joe is persuasive enough.

I'm guessing someone's win condition is getting people sick. What conclusions jump to mind based on the books?

Spoiler

Venli, Eshonai's sister: Wants to turn Eshonai into stormform

Eshonai: Wants to turn everyone into stormform

Lord Venture: Wants to poison some city wells

Rock: Wants to prove that everyone else is an airsick lowlander. Also upset at sadeas.

Gallodon: Is sick of Raoden's optimism

I can't think of anyone else. Anyone else have ideas?

Assuming people play this like a normal Village eliminator game. We don't actually know anything about the GoH other than the Children have to kill them. Do they even have a kill? Are they just another hidden faction like the Children? With at least one other faction (Ghostbloods) and Individual players attached to no faction it might not end up being that simple.

Also @The Young Bard I'm going to have to disagree with the fact that the ghostbloods are an open faction. If they were Magestar never would have gotten in the situation about openly talking about being a villager or not. That should have been discussed in their faction doc. Besides, if any group in the cosmere would be secretive enough to make sure the members don't know each other it would be the ghostbloods.

Someone from that unpublished work where getting sick gets you powers? I can't think of the name now

Maybe also Tarvangian. He was all about his hospital and recording sick people's dying messages. Although if it started on Roshar, that might be a strike against that role. I don't know of anyone who actually started on their home-world.

I do. I think starting worlds were more or less randomized.

Someone on my current world said their previous world was their home one. First I heard of though.

Also, I do think that the self-interest rational for not attacking indiscriminately holds true

For a given kill, the eliminators have a 0% chance of hitting an elim, and an x% chance of hitting a villager, while simultaneously having a chance to hit an independent who might help the village.  I don't see why it isn't in the elim's self interest to try and kill someone every turn.

Regarding revealing worlds; I think a better solution would be to reveal who was on our world the previous cycle.  That way we can track people without giving unneccessary information to a possible worlddestroyer/other person with world-targeting abilities.

I personally would like to hear from everyone who was on Roshar and could have been responsible for the sickness. So @Darkness Ascendant, @luckat, @Ecthelion III, @Mark IV and @STINK. Do you have anything you would like to share?

Also I agree with AliasSheep about revealing who was on the worlds previously. So sorry if any of the original Rosharians are upset with me revealing you.

Well, Clanky, if you have things you are willing to trade, I might be able to help you with your sickness.

I'm hoping that someone will heal me out of the goodness of their heart. But if nothing of that sort happens I'll definitely consider it.

Sure, let me say that I wasn't lying about my win cons, because why would I lie about having to sacrifice myself. When I have done my worldhopping win con, I will ask for someone on the planet I am on to attack someone else so I can complete my other win con, so no-one should worry about me.

Joe, you tried to kill me. You'll notice I'm not dead. And you'll notice there's no eliminator kill. And you'll notice that I'm rather bothered about that.

I tried to be fair. I tried to be even. But this means war.

We already were at war. My first non faction goal is to destroy the Ghostbloods. You made it clear that you weren't a member of my faction, an independant, or a memebr of God's own Hate. So chances were, you were a Ghostblood. So Yes, I attacked you, and am quite miffed that you not only survived but knew it was me. Can I expect a vengeance kill tonight?

So do you think there's no eliminator kill? Or do you think that it hit someone else who was protected?
