You can blow up the city? :o

heh, not yet. Not yet. They are, after all, small charges and not too many yet. in her spare time she trys to find places to hide the odd charge, but they aren't too big. Currently, setting them all off would set a couple buldings on fire, smokebomb a playground, damage two main roads, temporarily crippling some transport in some small areas of the city and level a particular store she didn't like that much. people keep moving her charges though for some reason so it would be some time before it would get to total city destruction level :P and then idk if she'd ever set them off. she may have forgotten to label some detonators...

"Oh, that note was you?" Elbe said. "Might have been nice of you to identify yourself in that note, you know." She shook her head. "M is considering your offer."

She turned to the rest of the group. "Will there be anything else, or shall I leave you to your discussion?"

Joe, I can't help noticing that Joseph magically knows Elbe's name now. And that Elbe suddenly became El for a line.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

"Does anyone want to look through their records before Sumiko burns them?" A few people raised their hands. Josephed bent over, picking the folder up from where the emissary had tossed it. He pulled out their files and passed them out, then handed the remainder to Sumiko. As he did, he whispered to her, softly enough that no one else could hear, "Once she leaves, we're going to follow her and find M. How quickly can you set up a building to burn down?"

Sumiko grinned "depends on the size of the building and how thorough a job you want. full implosion would take too long to prepare... But I can set up a healthy blaze with some extra boom in around 15-30 minutes if the place isn't too big. Takes longer if you want fireworks and glitter too." She looked at the papers he had handed her and flicked through for hers, peeking at Hals as she did so. His was confusing. She shoved hers unceremoniously into her pocked and closed the folder and looked back at Joseph. "Burn now?"

Lopen pmed me last cycle. Basic rundown: he apolegised for killing me N1 of MR13, I thought he had the wrong game, turns out it was right, he said he thought Hael was Ryuk and I was village.

And so you killed him for revenge then! Mystery solved!

I don't want to be a Hazekiller, but we have 19 people in this game and few are talking. Even fewer are voting. Where has everyone gone to?

Posted

The only votes that have happened so far are,

Amanuensis, who voted for Hellscythe, then changed it to Arraenae,

Me, who voted for Hellscythe, then I changed it to Trelagist.

No one has said anything about being voted on for lynching. It just seems mysterious to me.

Nah, my revenge was going to be pestering him with questions and constantly guilt-tripping him. Can't do that if I kill him N1.

Con, remember that there are a lot of different timezones in here.

Arraenae. Hellscythe. Still waiting on that full post mate.

In our PM, Lopen first asked me my opinion on Joe. We talked about his plan for a bit, basically everything mentioned in thread. Then he asked me about StrawMan and we agreed that he was a bit suspicious and we'd lynched him early in the past few games so we wouldn't in this one.

He told me he had a few Civilian claims and one PO claim(which was likely himself) that he believed. He also mentioned something El claimed that seemed like it might possibly be a Ripple Effect.

A Ripple Effect as in me making a typo that implies I'm an eliminator, or making a typo that I'm then lynched over but actually innocent? Because I'm guessing you mean the first, even though the second is what actually happened.

If that's the case, I'd guess he's talking about how I said "the Ryuk" instead of just "Ryuk" a couple of times, since I haven't seen the anime. Not totally certain how that could imply l'm an eliminator, though?

Just to be clear are you talking about an effect that causes slight changes that get bigger, or are you talking about somthing RippleGlyf did?

EDIT: Elbereth! How do you do that every time!?

It was when Ripple mixed up the Skaa and Inquisitor teams, as the second was the village in that game. She was lynched over it but it was just an honest mistake.

This typo was not what El said above. He thought it was weird, but not worthy of a lynch yet. I agreed. Not worth a huge mistaken lynch again.

Hmm. Not sure what he's talking about, then. Unless it's that I messed up how Murderers work? I don't really see how that could be construed as suspicious either, though... Whatever. Not much I can do about it now, anyway.

Rikku read over her files again. Rikku Nakusora, of interest to an ongoing criminal investigation for a homicide of three years ago. No picture included.

****. She hadn't done it. They had her ******* fingerprints, even one of the aliases she'd started using ever since Kira was a thing.

"Burn now?" Sumiko asked.

"Light them up," Joseph said.

Rikku looked at the files again. They had her name, her fingerprints, even a list of some of the places she'd lived in, all for a crime that she hadn't committed.

The words on the file jumped out at her against her will. Of interest to an ongoing criminal investigation of a serial killer. Kira killed people for less than that, and as if that wasn't enough, she regularly stole from retail all over Tokyo. She couldn't help but think back to Joseph's accusations that M would happily give Kira their information to further his goals, or that M was Kira...

Rikku ripped the files in half. Then again, and again, and again, until paper the size of coins fluttered out of her hands.

"I'm out," she said. Then she turned and left.

EDIT:

What was the Ripple Effect thing that El claimed?

Ripple was village at the time that she was lynched for the word mixup. Are you also implying that it was a village mistake?

Personally? I went to sleep :P

Anyway, the contents of my PM with Lopen was us discussing my motivations for wanting to know who L was (which he then judged to be fair enough), and his worries on myself and Joe accidentally closing down the number of people who could be L, followed by a list of people he thinks is L.  Did he give this list to anyone else?

Posted

In my PM with him, Lopen only gave me a list of people that he thought were likely not Ryuk. We only had a few PMs back and forth since I hadn't gotten on until late in the cycle though, so we didn't really get much farther than that.

In an effort to seem useful, I've gone over all of Arraenae's posts and I'm gonna post a summary and some thoughts now.  If you were wondering Arraenae, I picked you because you didn't seem to be posting a lot and I had a gut feeling of suspicion that I wanted to check.  I'll do it for more people over the course of the game.

Post Summary:

1 - Asks Joe why Ryuk wouldn't fakeclaim as police in Joe's plan; votes for Joe

2 - Suggests that Joe wouldn't be L/police because they wouldn't offer themself up for the murderers; Asks murderers not to excessively kill people so as to avoid helping Ryuk

3 - Explains vote on Joe; Asks murderers not to kill inactives as they'd end up killing lots of innocents

4 - Votes DC; Says DC's statement won't help discussion and sounds like an eliminator trying to discredit it

5 - Asks Con for their reason for voting DC

6 - Points out the flaw in everyone posting fakescans (the eliminator can rule you out if you post saying they're innocent) and that this would make it easier for the eliminator to find L; Asks what L should do if they get a positive guilty scan

7 - Reminds Con that there are many timezones that people are in

After looking through all the posts, it seems like my earlier suspicion was misplaced to some extent.  She's made some decent suggestions all about reducing the number of casualties we take, which points against her being an eliminator.  She hasn't made a remarkable amount of discussion about who to lynch, however, as her reasoning for voting both DC and Joe was pretty small, if relevant, and she didn't engage in much discussion of lynching them else wise either.  That all being said, I don't think there's enough there to put her on my suspicion list, but not on my trust list either.

Apologies for not posting. Unfortunately I'm still on mobile as mailliw and death clutch(well I guess not anymore) my roommates can tell you I've been robbed of Ethernet in our new apartment and while I have set up my computer, internet access has not been available. I pmed Lopen last cycle and we swapped roles however he told me he was a civilian and not a PO. That's currently all the information I have that I can share without consent others I've pmed.

I know I said this last cycle but by the end of this cycle hopefully I will be able to find my wireless adapter and hook up to the Internet to make an actual and complete post with analysis on players as well as roles and the game.

Currently I'm in class but it ends around 6pm and I believe rollover is at 11pm giving me enough time to post. If this does not happen I apologize and offer myself up for the lynchings because I also hate inactives and the non-information they breed.

Edit: I suppose Luna can affirm my internet problems as well. I would put things in blue but I'm still on mobile and in class and don't have the time.
