I'm good. However, I would prefer to go to Ashyn, not Braize.

Wait... Now you're good?  Do you even really know what your own name is?

5 players haven't posted yet and might be in danger of receiving a Fatal Wound: Orlok(has been online though, so it's possible he's either sent in an Action or made a PM), Sart(hasn't been online in 3 days, so his future looks bleak  :() LUNA(has not been online yet), Mark lV(has not been online yet) and Anamaximder(last online about an hour after the thread opened). So to those players: PLEASE POST OR DO SOMETHING!!!

No one's really stood out to me yet, so I'll hold off on voting right now. GM questions though: Ada, what happens in the case of a tied lynch? Does a player need 2 or more votes on them to be lynched?

Posted (edited)

If tied, no one will be sent to the pyre that day. They will, however, accumulate an additional vote next cycle. Two is the minimum number of votes required; a single players accusation is not enough to warrant death.

Hey! Just got back. Happy to see that I'm not being poked by votes. Anyways, since this is the first day (I thought of changing my playstyle a bit), I'll go and vote on someone. Lemme see.

How about Kipper. Just a random vote. Also, I'll be voting every cycle, as a change from my usual playstyle. It's quite strange being a villager. Now these very words will be used against me.

Anyways, who wants to talk to me? I could open up a PM with you! Anyone?

Ada, further to Lopen's question, if the tied player survives the following cycle, despite the additional vote, does that vote remain in cycles thereafter?

I am here, Lopen - whilst I was on late last night (rollover is at 10pm for me), there was little I felt I could meaningfully contribute - but will be online from now until a couple of hours into Chapter 2.

Orlok, how are ya, old buddy, old pal?

I wouldn't mind knowing your alignment too, if you.re okay with outting it to the thread.

The additional vote will only last for the duration of the following cycle.

If you still haven't opened one, maybe PM an inactive to make sure they get on? I don't know.

Please give feedback on this massive guide.

What exactly do you propose the code is used for? It isn't really much of a code if everyone has the key to it.

Posted

By code I meant a way for dead greenseers to give us as much info as possible in the 10 character message. The maximum number of characters it would take to say someone's name, faction, and role would be 5 characters.

With a little over four hours to go let's see how the votes tally up:

Sart (1) Maill

Lopen (1) Paranoid King

Strawman (1) Kipper

Kipper (1) Mark

Mark (1) Shannara

Those that haven't posted and are at risk of gaining a fatal wound:

Sart

Deathclutch

LUNA

Anyone in contact with any of those three?

I'm fairly certain that Mailliw knows both LUNA and Deathclutch IRL.

Just a reminder; there are approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes left in this cycle to vote and place orders in your GM PM. The sooner I know what everyone intends to do, the sooner I can produce the next write-up and start the next cycle. Turn over will always be at 5PM EST, no matter how long it takes to post the thread.

Post Summary

  1. TinyStrawMan “And so it begins…” EDITED IT TO A PLAN OF ACTIONS.

  2. Alvron asks how many cycles we have.

  3. GM is cryptic. (AKA hasn’t decided yet :P)

  4. DeathClutch “Let the fun begin”

  5. STINK makes an amazing rhyme

  6. GM can’t pronounce words.

  7. STINK can.

  8. GM uses American pronunciation, like a scrub.

  9. TinyStrawMan asks if we should do a random vote.

  10. Mailliw votes for Jerle, Sart and Anamaximder ‘to make sure they show up’. The irony.

  11. Kynedath asks if having the healer reveal would be good.

  12. PK votes for Lopen ‘to build character’

  13. TinyStrawMan says Kynedath has a good idea. Later edits it to clarify if Kynedath meant goldcloaks instead of builders.

  14. GM asks people to leave original message if edited.

  15. Elbereth asks about Mailliw’s votes. Asks question about Kynedath plan.

  16. Mailliw says he just wants to scare them, and retracts vote on Jerle.

  17. Clanky discusses the Edit of TSM’s first post.

  18. GM says you must green out vote in original post too.

  19. Lopen names his character. Says Mailliw did something similar in AG2.

  20. Mailliw says he does it because it’s convenient.

  21. Kynedath forgot about goldcloaks and builders.

  22. Elbereth asks about TSM’s plan. Asks about a PM System.

  23. Clanky says he already sent his PM.

  24. Kynedath talks about eliminators getting role info from healing asked in either thread or PM.

  25. Alvron clarifies that Kynedath had a misunderstanding of how Ranger worked.

  26. Jerle says hi.

  27. Kipper votes for Jerle and TSM, EDITED to retract vote on Jerle.

  28. Kynedath shouldn’t get roles wrong anymore.

  29. Clanky says hi.

  30. PK talks about everyone sending a PM to someone so that no-one gets killed.

  31. Elbereth likes that plan.

  32. Lopen gives role advice and asks questions.

  33. Clanky says making a PM isn’t an action.

  34. Elbereth did not think of a Traitor Greenseer.

  35. PK misunderstood the PMs.

  36. Clanky talks about Greenseers.

  37. GM answers.

  38. Jerle is good. Asks what a room does.

  39. Kipper says thanks. Reminds TSM to say something.

  40. Jerle says room as in one a builder can make.

  41. Alvron says that the room doesn’t do anything, just actions.

  42. Jerle figures out spoilers.

  43. Clanky makes joke .

  44. Jerle finds it funny.

  45. Lopen reminds 5 people to post, and asks a GM question after saying he won’t vote.

  46. GM answers.

  47. Anamaximder is alive.

  48. Mark votes for Kipper and says he will vote every cycle.

  49. Orlok asks GM question, and explains how he is in GMT (like me) so struggled with posting after rollover.

  50. GM answers.

  51. Jerle votes for Mark, saying ‘that’s a suspicious statement.’

  52. TinyStrawMan makes a code for Greenseers.

  53. Elbereth suggests Mark make a PM to an inactive.

  54. Clanky says the code isn’t that useful if everyone knows it.

  55. TinyStrawMan explains how it shortens characters used.

  56. Alvron posts vote tally and asks if anyone is in contact with the 3 players who have not posted.

  57. GM says how much time is left.

In memory of Ada, who can’t make these posts himself, I will have to justify all my posts :P

I am slightly suspicious of Mark, for saying “It’s quite strange being a villager”, though I assume that’s because it’s his first Village game and he doesn’t quite know how to be one yet, such as saying things like this. If he was an Eliminator, I imagine he wouldn’t say that.

I don’t understand why Kipper was prodding TSM to post with votes and such, seeing as TSM has made more posts than Kipper involving a plan and now a code that is going to be useful for Greenseers and their character limit. Other than his posts prodding TSM to say things, he hasn’t really posted anything else.

Other than that, most of the discussion has been around plans which I feel I don’t really have much to say about (seeing as I suck at it :P).  I still want to vote for someone at the end of the cycle though, just not right now. Anyone with 1 vote is not safe!

This is my long Post

With the most

toast.

I will have to place a random vote on... mark IV please post on why I shouldn't kill you.

Awesome. The only player who is in danger of receiving a Fatal Wound to inactivity is Sart now. Hopefully an Oldtown Acolyte can just heal him next Cycle.

Like I said in the LG, I've got to go now, but I'll be back in a couple hours. Possibly before rollover, but I doubt it.
