Tomorrow is going to be insane in US

On that we can agree.

It may be the ONLY thing we agree on in this election, but I'll takes what I can gets.

(We are going to see Doctor Strange tomorrow night to escape from some of the stress.)

Great choice! It's amazing. :D

In other news, voting tomorrow for the first time. So much stress. So many candidates, so little research done.

Most important thing is you are doing so. Many don't. This is will be my 1st time(I'm hoping) that I will since Bush jr 1. I've had cleric issues on everyone since then and have been unable to. Each time I've had it "fixed" only to be untrue. If it's not allowed this time I will be furious.

Vote for the pug party!

Well, the Shard's nominee for the Pug Party (Bruce) didn't get enough votes to make it through the primaries, so he and I are going to be at home tonight, stuffing our faces with junk food.

Urgh. The US election.

I think I've said my piece before. As a non-US citizen, it is frustrating to watch; particularly since the outcome will have a significant effect on the rest of the world, yet all we can do is watch.

If I didn't have away shift tomorrow, I'm sure I would be sitting up all night waiting for the results. I have trouble sleeping at the best of times; I've had to start taking anxiety tablets before bed, because otherwise I wake up at 2am, freaking out that I'm late for work.

I'm going to need a whole box of them to get through tonight without waking up in a cold sweat at the thought of President Trump.

It feels like there's not a lot we can do but watch either. The Trumpocalypse all but guaranteed to take Texas, for instance, even if every voting member of my family went and threw a ballot for the Clintastrophe. :P

Heh. Perfect names.

I did have to hold my nose and vote, but it was nice to learn that, contrary to Twimom and Twidad's warnings, the universe would not explode if I voted Democrat. :P

My conservative acquaintances from church keep telling me that not voting is a vote for Clinton and the liberals I know keep saying that not voting is a vote for Trump, so I'm assuming that if I were to actually vote I'd collapse the quantum waveform and nullify existence. :P

I've been doing that the past three days.

Good job Twi! Holding your nose keeps the bad taste out of your mouth.

I will say it's been a blast watching the quantum shadows of Republican!Kobold and Democrat!Kobold duking it out all day. The sword fight was the best part, though of course it was all over when Republican-me cast the "Summon NRA" spell.

Yes! I'm glad I was able, even if it wasn't totally stress-free.

Really hope everything works out for you! :)

Nor will it explode if one votes third party, thankfully. :P

I have to admit it's somewhat amusing: all that democracy and stuff and people get to choose between two choices and people who say to vote for someone else are ridiculed (my observations throughout the internet). I mean, two choices are not really pluralism...

It's immensely irritating being an American, but a year away from voting. Just having to watch as the future of America while I'm a college student is decided without my input.

And now you know my number one problem with government! Laws are passed but seldom struck down. Damage can be done but healing is seldom anything to write home about. Debt is racked up that future generations will have to pay off, despite having had no representation when the damning choices were made.

Basically, democracy is an illusion, freedom to choose a myth, fighting is futile, and ponies are way more fun to watch. :P

Whoever gets elected tonight will shape how my four years of high school go.

...nothing is true, reality is an illusion, everything is permitted, universe is a hologram and we should buy gold.

Oof. I should probably stop watching Google's live feed of the election.

But I don't want to.

On a lighter note, the city of Orlando plans to purchase Pulse nightclub and turn it into a permanent memorial for the lives lost there.

Like, what's he gonna do to gay people? What's gonna happen to you, and me, and my sister, and my friends? And transgender people, too? Are we all just gonna go sit in the corner for four years? God forbid, eight years? Or are they going to take away our rights, too?

Make America Great Again does not mean to push America back fifty years, when no one talked about the important issues.

I can't actually believe this is happening to us.

I was going to say he probably won't be able to overturn same-sex marriage just like that, but Republicans still control Congress, so I dunno. -_-

Not only that, he's also a rusting chauvinist! He objectifies people and calls people names, particularly women.

I'm just real worried.
