Heh

and religion is apparently what separates us from animals. *stares at Brandon :P

@Idealistic Mistborn I see, if you need any help, we're all here for you.

Lol.

Religion makes me laugh.

Hmm. not sure I agree with that. That's Brandons ideology?

Why? Do you consider yourself religious?

I know. But it's like, have to use the mental energy to keep a quarter of an eye on them just in case.

Many non-Jewish people here in the US do that, too. We don't take them seriously--like, at all--but they're also on notice, in many a person's book. So, rest assured we've got your back. :)

If it's any consolation, I haven't met a single person who takes them seriously. The way I see it, they're using their own freedom of speech to make themselves look like idiots.

Actually, it's worse than that. They're basically scam artists. They provoke people, get attacked, sue, and make themselves rich. Practically the entire family/church (the whole church is basically one family) is lawyers, and they've made it a very profitable business model, though morally abhorrent.

......that's twisted genius. Do they even believe their own views?

I think some of them might, at least. Back when I was a teen, I was part of a forum geared toward Christians, but that accepted members of all faiths, and one day, a Westboro Baptist joined. She wrote quite a long post defending the Westboro church, trying to convince people that no, we're not as bad as the media says we are….and so on.

That site didn't have downvotes, but if it did, she would've plunged directly into the negatives. Hoo boy, that was some anger she unleashed…..

@Jondesu - yep, that's exactly what the WBC do. They're cremlings. Absolute, despicable cremlings. While some of them are True Believers, they as a whole do it for the money. Makes me want to do very violent and unchristian things to them. Which would be wrong of me, so I won't.

SO I could use a hug. Been working ridiculously late basically every night, and the nights when I don't HAVE to work late I stay up late anyway because I'm not used to sleeping at a reasonable hour. (By late, I mean 2-3 in the morning. Orz).
In addition to that, I'm just feeling kinda crummy/stuck in a rut. Right now the only thing that seems like it's advancing in my life is my Uni degree (which is almost done! I'm out this year! But the last few months are ridiculously busy and stressfu), and I know that life in general will pick up once I'm free - but knowing is not the same as feeling.
And once I am job hunting in the summer to start work in September, that'll be a whole 'nother pile of stress. Just because I want to get on my life doesn't mean it's not scary.
Generally, I just need a hug and a nap orz.

We currently have two additional kids in our house, spending the night because their mom (one of my wife's friend) is in the hospital and is likely to have her gallbladder removed. That's bad enough for her and for my wife who cares about her a lot, but it adds a lot of stress on me too, which lead to me being shut away in my bedroom and unable to really do much of anything for a while. My wife understands and wasn't expecting me to help with the kids or even be around them, but it still makes me feel like crem.

I feel you, every time I think about what to do next year once I finish college I get frightened and I just want to hide under my sheets.

But at least you are doing progress with your degree.

It's another one of those days when Formerly Pushy Coworker decides to police my timing (I wasn't at the desk a minute or two before I was supposed to be, so at the EXACT TIME my shift started--he didn't wait for me to be late--he came to the back to ask when I'd be out) and not answer a single question unless he absolutely has to. And it's just me and him tonight.

Whoop dee doodle doo. <_<

Goodness Lake Charles is in a sea of red on the weather radar. Power is pulsing, I can just faintly see the lights dimming every 2 sec or so.

I keep my fingers cross that you won't lose the power and stay dry, warm and safe!

She's a librarian. Weird is her profession.

But what if she's an Evil Librarian? Will Twi be able to turn her to the light side of the Force?
