Adamir, you say that Kipper told you his prime suspects, but last night cycle Kipper said he had 3 major suspicions after he thought Raven was dead. So, with Raven still being alive until today, wouldn't he have told you 4 suspects?

Kipper contacted me on Day 1, whereupon I shared my suspicions on Araris with him. I've just gone over the PM; Hero hadn't been one of his suspects, I had misremembered. He had suspected Raven, Haelbarde and Araris. That had been when he last contacted me, Day 2. It was then that he said he would open up a PM with Araris to see if he could get any information.

I definitely need to retract my vote from hero - that last defense has the feel of innocence (although I suppose only time will tell whether that's a genuine feel or a counterfeit).

I'm not sure how much weight to give kipper's suspicions. His role was important enough for the Eliminators to want to get rid of him asap, regardless of how close he was too finding them. But since I don't have any better leads at present, I'll join the call for Araris to speak up.

Oh, ok. I thought you might have been part of his dead man plan to reveal his information if he died.

Also, as to why I'm back so early. Me and my dad and brother were going to go to a high school football game, but when we got there it was all sold out. Which is pretty crazy because it's supposed to be pretty huge, my dad said it cost over 40 million dollars to build. For a high school football stadium. That's insane. Well, people here always say "everything is bigger in Texas", I guess it's true.

Edit: Thanks for the extension btw.

Alright, since we now have an extension, I should probably make a vote count of the last 24 hours.

Hero (0): Seonid, Sart

Sart(0): Hero

Alvom (1): Araris, Lopen

Bort (1): Sart

Araris (2): Adamir, Seonid

Hmm... I should hopefully have time to analyze this tomorrow. I know it's the weekend, so people are busy, but please respond to the thread if you get the chance.

Sorry for my absence, everyone. Work these last few days have been particularly preoccuping, and yesterday was one of those days where everything that could go wrong, did. I'm afraid I need to backtrack through the last few threads because while I have read most of the posts I haven't had the chance to analyze them thoroughly enough to add anything useful. As for Araris, what do you want to hear from me exactly? I thought I had explained my theories and perspective well enough, but if there was something specific that came off odd to you let me know so I can try to clarify it.

Seeing as I don't have any major suspicions right now, I'm gonna put my vote on Paranoid King. You've been on but you haven't posted anything. We need to have everyone speaking up if we're going to catch the eliminators.

thank you to everyone who called for an extension. It turns out that I needed it too. And now I go to sleep. I'll try to post setting worthwhile tomorrow. Edited by Herowannabe

A Smart Guy. I have no idea who is suspicious or not. This is the first time I've been in the thread in 3 or 4 days. I was hoping to get better, then rejoin the game but I think too much time has passed for me to make much sense.

Yeah, thanks Clanky and Alvron and Lopen and Ren. I wasn't on at all this whole day(because I just joined a DnD group! :D:lol:B) ).

Uh, Bort, did you mean to color Sart one way or another? It's just black text right now. But anyway, back to lynching. I don't think I've actually voted yet this game, so I will put my inaugural on Hero, because I don't understand how he could be so sure Sart was an Eliminator and then change his mind so quickly.

Because he though Sart wouldn't have apologized for going after Kipper if he was a villager? That doesn't make sense. If he was so sure about Sart, then in the same situation he would have been equally sure about STINK, and since STINK was innocent I have no idea why Hero was so sure that Sart was an Eliminator. To sum up my derailed train of thought(heh bad pun like ren does), Hero was sure about Sart because of what Sart said. However, it was STINK who said it and STINK was a villager. Therefore Hero couldn't have been sure about Sart unless he knew Sart's alignment. Oh. I guess maybe Hero is an Ardent, and I just messed up. But if he were an Ardent, then he wouldn't have said he was mistaken! Oh, maybe he thought he was corrupted? ... so Hero is probably either an Eliminator or an sometimes-corrupted Ardent. Unfortunately if he's not an Eliminator I think I just gave him away assuming I am correct. But it's more likely that he'd be an Eliminator than an Ardent(especially one who is sometimes corrupted) so I'll just assume he's an Eliminator.

I don't recall exactly what Hero said about sart, but I thought he said he was basing his vote off Wilson's suspicions. Then after Sarts response, upon rereading Wilson's PM, Hero realized that the "he" she'd referred to as suspicious could have (or was) referring to someone different.

I'm willing to view that as plausible, and seeing as Sart is willing to believe that too, I'm willing to give Hero the benefit of the doubt.

Feligon, Silverdragon, Venture, Emerald (possibly others but it's annoying to check on phone) haven't posted in a while...

Don't think I'll be back on til after turn over unfortunately. Well, briefly in 7 hours, but otherwise I won't. So leave a message before then if you need me.

Well, Alvom, I am just interested in what you have to say this cycle, and whether of not it adds or takes away my suspicion of you. So I'll wait to hear a little more after you finish analyzing stuff.

Also, Seonid, I have already posted once this cycle, so I'm not sure what exactly you want to hear from me. I had a post ready yesterday, but forgot that when I changed tabs to look over the thread, it would delete my post. But basically I am a bit confused by all of the attention I am getting, particularly I am confused as to why Kipper's suspicion of me should lead to my lynch. I don't think he would have had much info that the rest of us don't, and his opinions are just as valid as anyone else's (also just as invalid). I am a bit wary to trust people's claims in PMs, and other people should be wary of using that, because if you use something like that as a villager and get another villager lynched then it is easy for the eliminators to turn that back on you. That is part of how I lost the Steelheart LG to a very nefarious Wilson.

As I stated before, I've had unforeseen IRL events interfere with my ability to play. In fact, I'm only posting now to let everyone know that my mother has recently had a stroke, and that's the last straw for me this game. I look forward to being able to join future games, but it will probably be a while before I do.

I'd like to thank Ren for GMing what looked to be a truly enjoyable game of SE, and everybody for their understanding.

Tl;dr: My mom just had a stroke, so I'm out.

For what it's worth I don't think you are an eliminator Araris and as loathe as I am to do this, I feel that losing you isn't worth the information we would gain so I'm going to tie the vote.

I personally am not at all satisfied with Heros change of heart on Sarts guilt. He seemed pretty certain of Sarts guilt as in 75% sure he was an eliminator. I put some quotes that I found going back through Heros posts that seem to me that the way he was describing it had more to back it up than an ambiguous statement in a PM with Wilson.

I actually very nearly voted for one of the people I strongly suspect (I'd say about 75% certain they're an eliminator) based on their behavior so far this game. I even typed out the post casting the vote for that player, but then changed my mind halfway through, and voted for Emerald instead. I decided to wait a cycle or two before calling out the one I suspect most.

What's interesting is that at the time, she phrasing she used was basically "well, since the eliminators probably know my role, the player I trust the most should, too." When I asked her what she meant she explained that in warning Sart about the fallacies of his follow-the-leader plan she implied what her role was, and was reasonably sure that Sart had figured it out. She expressed suspicions about some of Sart's behavior and I told her I'd keep an eye on him.

And then Wilson was killed.

And I have been watching Sart, and I have to say, nothing he's said has done anything to alleviate my suspicions. He seems to be walking that line that eliminators love to walk of being helpful but not TOO helpful. Twice now he has pointed out that a lynch train has formed without the eliminators offering an alternative lynch candidate, and then has proceeded to offer up an alternative lynch candidate, which reads to me as an eliminator trying to sow confusion.

Tell me, do those quotes sound like someone with a suspicion based off of one persons passing remarks? I don't think so. I in fact don't think that Hero is 75% certain of Sarts guilt. I think he knows that Sart is an eliminator since he is also one and this was just a plan amongst them to distance themselves should one of them die and be revealed.

I'm almost willing to drop my vote to remove the tie, because we need a lynch today, but I think I'll leave it up just to see if there are any shenanigans. We've lost one Worldsinger, but I can't believe that there was only one. So this is an opportunity.

Whew! After an 11 hour work day yesterday and 9 1/2 hours of laying stone today I am pooped. And there is 10 minutes left in the cycle so there is no way I'd have time to do any sort of analysis so I won't be casting a vote.

A couple quick comments though:

@Emerald: I hope for the best for you and your mom!

@Clanky: Actually the 75% certainty comment was NOT about Sart, but about a different player. I'm still watching that person, but my certainty has dropped to about 60% right now.

As for Sart, Yes I was basing a large part of my suspicion on Wilson's suspicion of him, but not all. Once I realized I had misunderstood who she was talking about, that cut out a lot of my reasons for voting for him. I'm not convinced that Sart is a villager, but as of right now I don't have enough reason to vote for him, let alone try to lead a lynch mob after him. Again, my apologies to Sart and to everyone for the confusion.
