Woot! Sitting inside on the floor for an hour waiting in the heat while 3 other viewings are forced to wait outside in 40F! I want to see this movie SO BAD! 1 hr to go!

Spoilers! (Look up 'Studio C spoilers' for reference). In all seriousness, I just joined Diaemus, and I am having a lot of ideas that will make my area either the most popular, or avoided by the rest of the planet.

Got back my grades for penultimate semester. Straight A+s, and my GPA moved up by 0.01. (...Not proportionate -.-''') Still, I'm pretty happy as this pushes me past this barrier I've been trying to break for a while, and one of those classes was giving me a lot of trouble.

Now the next big problem: how to maintain this for one last semester o.O

Isn't it wonderful?

It's especially nice in this case because I waited so long to get my prescription updated that my old pair was literally falling apart. One of those plastic nose rest things had already broken, so when the second one broke I knew it was time to change things. The metal frames were starting to hurt my nose.

Doesn't help you now, but if that ever happens again, any glasses store can and will fix that, probably for free. One of mine popped off during the summer, and the store I took it to fixed it for free. Wasn't where I bought my glasses either. Just future reference. :) I know that feeling of metal resting against the nose and it's rather unpleasant.

Good to know. :) It's a problem I won't have to deal with for the time being, since I got plastic lenses this time around, but if I get metal frames again, I'll remember that.

Speaking of glasses, it's probably time to update my prescription. :P Also, the right lens is this close to falling off. The little wire that keeps it in place is starting to come loose.

It's times like this I wish I lived in the Potterverse. A simple "Reparo" spell followed by "Prescrptionus Updatius" would be much better than visiting the optometrist. :P

Ouch!

What little Wilson said - places will sometimes happily change the nose pads or adjust the...bendableness of the bits that go behind your ears if they're too tight or loose. Yes that was a technical description. XP

After five years, one house fire, and about a zillion times printing out paperwork, I had my Eagle Scout Board of Review today. I'm officially an Eagle Scout as of today, I just need to get around to holding a Court of Honor.

My youngest sister got some Supergirl comics as an early Christmas present. She expressed dismay at some of the bizarre poses and costumes the artist foisted upon the title character.

So I introduced her to the Hawkeye Initiative.

Oh. My brother has been allergic to corn for years, and he recently completed a treatment called Oral Immuno-Therapy (OIT) for corn, after two other rounds for egg and peanut. He is now able to eat donuts, most cookies, frosting, sprinkles, and more. It's surprising how much corn is in stuff. But we don't have to deal with that anymore!
