This year, my family decided to have a "white moose" gift exchange on Christmas Eve. It's something we made up, kind of like a white elephant gift exchange, except instead of exchanging strange gifts nobody wants, we're exchanging gifts that are odd, but useful. 

 

I bought this and sent everyone a text saying they might as well save time and be jealous now.

It is considered warm in December when I don't have to wear my furry winter boot to work and I still don't freeze too much in my "good for late fall" coat   So basically, it currently feels as late October 

 

In fact, I am happily please to say we have broken a heat record last week-end   14°C. The previous record was 8°C in 1958 

 

Don't worry, snow is coming... Two huge snow storms in the work for Christmas, so we still get our white Christmas. I'll admit that while I enjoy not being stuck in the early snow traffic jam, it is slightly depressing outside.... It just can't be Christmas without snow

Last winter, here in Utah, we didn't get much winter. It showed up late and turned into spring rainfalls. So this year, apparently we are collecting on some interest or something, because on Tuesday we had school delayed two hours because of snowfall. So yay for snow!
