Fatebreaker
Fade's relationship with Sandman is multi-leveled. There's the paternal instinct primarily, but there's also a utilitarian aspect to it. Sandman is an epic, which makes him a useful tool. And I wouldn't say Fade uses his powers liberally. And yeah, I'm not gonna pull the "His love is stronger!" bit. I'm a better writer than that.

I dunno, getting rid of someone that could know his weakness seems more useful that anpther Epic in prime position to backstab him but whatever. Maybe I heven´t seen enough of him but he was more that happy to keep everyone else from noticing him, when first in the museum and given that you describe it as an passive that´s probably permanent and I don´t think there´s a better description for liberal use of something than always using it. Thank you very much for that. Talking about Fade keeping others from noticing him, I don´t think Nighthound even knows who he is. So, that´s awkward. the winter system
I saw that comic just now. Cool/horrifying! Red's been an Epic for maybe three years? Mistwraith became one in thread. Amber is not an Epic.
Mailliw73
Here's Dustmaker's full profile: Epic Name: Dustmaker Human Name: Mike Duss Weakness: <PM'd to the GM> Primary Power: Disintegration. Can disintegrate any non-living thing equal to or smaller than him in size. Secondary Power: Air manipulation. He can control the winds and air around him. He uses this to fly, but it's more of the wind pushing him or the air lifting him than true flying. He also uses this to knock over structures. Tertiary Power: Enhanced strength. Dustmaker is able to lift around fifty pounds more than what he should be able to. Passive Power: Disintegration field. Anything non-living that approaches him gets disintegrated automatically, except for materials Dustmaker intentionally touches(ex: clothes, floor). The field is only slightly larger than his body. Appearance: Dustmaker wears the black cargo pants customary among the Destructors' Commandos. He changed from a dark green tank top to a tight, grey muscle shirt. He has had a short Mohawk for years. He now dyed it bright red and he has tattoos covering his biceps. After becoming an Epic, Dustmaker got twin tattoos on the side of his Mohawk. They indicate his wind powers and dust. Age: 37 Home City: Las Vegas, NV Weaponry: Two assault rifles that are slung on both his shoulders when he isn't using them. Mike grew up in a foster home. His father didn't know of him, Mike's mother hadn't even known who Mike's father was. She overdosed on drugs when he was four. He moved from family to family, always causing trouble. He finally left and went out on the streets when he was 15. He stole and mugged to survive. He managed to avoid police until he was 19. He was finally caught once after hijacking a car as an undercover cop drove by. When the cop came to arrest him, Mike shot him and ran. That was his first murder. The charges built from there, and Mike was caught when he was 23. He spent the next eleven years in prison. When Jag and Hawkwing, after recruiting Metalmech, decided to add commandos to their group. Mike's prison was one of the first ones they hit. He volunteered excitedly and became a heavy weapons specialist in _____'s squad.

True, but Sandman is the one area where Fade is slightly unreasonable. There's also other backstory reasons I haven't yet specified. I was planning on revealing this sometime in WHiP, but if you must satisfy your curiosity then take a look. The night both Fade and Sandman got their powers was the night Lily died. Lily was Fade's only child. Her mother had died giving birth to her, so Fade had raised her himself. She grew and eventually married, but her husband was killed in a drive by, leaving her a widowed mom. Then members of the gang Fade used to be a part of broke into the house and tried to kill him. The gang-banger accidentally killed Lily, Fade's daughter and Sandman's mom. Fade killed him immediately, but he was too late to save Lily. So Maximilian was all Fade had to remember his daughter by. That night his powers awakened as he went on a rampage and slaughtered as many of the gang as he could find. So he's kinda like Funtimes in that he's super possessive, and he's willing to take the risk. Plus practically everyone else has good epics, so an epic who merely has self control shouldn't be too crazy. You're right. hadn't thought of that. Well, this should be an interesting introduction.

Maybe Sandman dying is tied to Fade's fears somehow? "Hello. Your name is Nighthound. You are unforgivably creepy. Prepare to die."

Kobold King
Nope That could be a problem. Wes can get away with not having a name in his posts, but humans tend to be more self-aware than raptors. Any particular ideas you're kicking around? Any particular ideas you're kicking around? Well I've got the icon up above (she's a lot older than Timeport assumed--he's in that age where everyone younger than him is much younger than they look. I'm thinking like 13 or 14.) but I have no ideas for names

(Except for Ricardo. That one was from a line in a song where the singer says, completely out of the blue, "Ricardo! If you have to ask, you'll never know.")

Kobold King
Well I've got the icon up above (she's a lot older than Timeport assumed--he's in that age where everyone younger than him is much younger than they look. I'm thinking like 13 or 14.) but I have no ideas for names I like that picture. It looks less like a typical icon and more like a full illustration than most, but it could definitely look. It gives an immediate impression of badchullery. I found a site that gave a bunch of randomized female names, copy-and-pasted here for your convenience: Alayna Morey Zoey Dejesus Dakota Wheat Skylar Payne Christina Borden London Finch Kennedy Doughty Makenzie Stovall Valerie Bartlett Ava Holloway Bailey Burke Liliana Fournier Angel Bender Vanessa Cobb Jordyn Begley Sasha Coats Erin Meredith Samantha Zamora Ava Hatch Arianna Riddick Reagan Haynes Allison Norwood Kira Crawford Alexis Adam Madyson Mosher Michelle Trimble Macy Breeden Kiera Starkey Ariel Stout Amanda Akins Hannah Strickland Genevieve Luna Carolina Wyatt Julie Archuleta Alejandra Cathey Talia Stearns Alina Sloan Ana Figueroa Serena Michaels Alayna Gifford Jaslene Gibson Kaylie Gamez Cassandra Rhodes Grace Parsons Alexandra Edmond Madison Glass Alexandria Jenkins Kaitlyn Braun Isabella Bloom Amelia Nelson I'm fond of "Dakota Wheat" myself. But since I named a character "Revolution Sunburst Jones," I guess that's not really surprising.

It means "life," which could hint at her destiny to destroy Timeport and save countless lives. Then an ordinary sort of surname, like Richards or Watson or something similar.
