Okay, what's the most disgusting name out there....Britanic Jerald Jansink? No, that's taken.

Though it would provide The Dalles thread with an interesting twist. And by interesting, I mean "so horrible I want to bleach my brain for thinking of it."

Head cannon accepted, though only because I can't get it out of my head

I don't think I've said this before, and I doubt I'll say it again, but...

No shipping fics for those two. Please.

I defer to the wise judgement of the Shipmistress.

I prefer far less disturbing ships.

Awwwww....

Compared to Terry/Quota, they're downright adorable.

(They're adorable anyway....in a completely terrifying way, of course.)

Oh, come on! That description is a million times more compelling than 99.9% of the stuff out there!

Hey, I'd read it too. For that matter, I'd be happy to write it. :P

(Am I the only one curious about the remaining 0.1% of romance novels TwiLyght thinks are as interesting as Möbius/Koschei shipping? :P)

Yay. :P

Most of them aren't romance novels, oddly enough, just novels with a strong element of romance in them. Warbreaker was one of them. One by Leigh Ann Kopans is heavier on the romance, and I liked it quite a bit, though I didn't like the sequel as much. But if I had to pick an actual romance novel that I considered as interesting in concept and execution as the Koschei/Mobius story, I'd have to pick A Proper Pursuit by Lynn Austin. It's a tad preachy in places, but the story (a spunky young woman goes to Chicago for the 1898 World's Fair and winds up courted by four very different, very quirky gentlemen) is absolutely hilarious.

On another note, my sister is reading Firefight. She just met Obliteration. Here is an actual, unedited conversation my brother and I had with her.

Sister: Uh, he is so creepy. Not okay.

Me: The way he quotes Revelation….*shudder*

Sister: Yeah, no kidding. Anyway, I'm going to go take a shower.

Me: Have a nice shower, little one.

Sister: Don't call me 'little one'! It's creepy!

Brother: Enjoy the deeps. Of your shower.

Sister: I'm leaving now.

I wonder: can we get our pastor to preach on Revelation this Sunday? :P

I was thinking something similar when I read Firefight that if the RP gets too outside of canon we can just say that when Megan became Firefight and discovered the existence of Nighthound she banished all of Oregon to another AU.

That last one sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to see if it's available on Kindle.

Upvote for you, an upvote for your sister, and an upvote for your brother. Since they don't have accounts I'll just have to give you one particularly enthusiastic upvote. :D

Although... when I talk to cats I generally call them "little one." Does that make me as creepy to cats as Obliteration is to people?

I hope not, I was planning to reference something about them in the RP  :P

This is from that thread on the Reckoners board talking about how Calamity is set in Atlanta. Are you planning on having the Momentum Twins join the Coven after all, Voidus? :P

Actually another thought what if the RP is all from the mirror universe where Firefight is a fire Epic? Nighthound is actually just a kind, sweet old man, Koschei is a world-renowned doctor who heals all manor of ills, Funtimes is a very serious lecturer at a prestigious university and Backtrack is a lion tamer or Reckoner.

I call my cats that too

I just wanted to keep the option open, it's a possibility depending on how their story goes.

Only if you try to drown them while quoting Revelation.   So, no, you're good.

I mean, yeah. That'd be weird.   :P

Did he have a completely ordinary number of parking tickets?
