This game is moving so fast... I've only read (mostly skimmed) the first 4 pages so far, I'll try catch up later today

People who have practically just RPed (please yap more)

I usually don't have much to say on D1s, but that being said, I will try to say more now.

As for the Moving to Depose, I do think it might be helpful. While it won't give too much information on who the potential elims are, it'll give more information to the village loyalty manipulators. Besides, there aren't that many roles that benefit from a low loyalty. Yes, it does risk losing the game C1, but I think it's worth it.

What exactly was the goal of poke voting me?

Reaction test. You mostly ignored it and my follow up question, so that just died before it even started.

So I can’t even make an Alvron train?!

They haven't said much, and they do seem? to be friends of sort with Myst.

Revised list though.

WAHR

Wahr's interaction so far has been basically unforced, is the root of it.
 - Initially an interaction with Mat, when Mat was originally directing his question at TuC.

Not just that but the implication is that Wahr is thinking about the game at a level that is good enough for me atm.
 - The response with Mint adds to this, with them agreeing that villagers shouldn't be forced to keep loyalties high. It's a post that shows they are paying attention to the things people are saying in a way I wouldn't expect at this point from the Elims (sue me if wrong) since Mint's post was all RP and they read through it to find Mint's thoughts, rather than take it as an RP post purely.
 - Again with Mat, the response shows that he was trying to parse the game and TuC's thought process before TuC was there to respond.

INK

What I see is Ink being incredibly comfortable in thread in a way I wouldn't expect from a new Elim. Correct me if this isn't Ink's first game or whatnot.

I also think that their pointing out Myst's comment is a good look for them in a way, potentially seeing something similar in that post that I felt from Coco's post about trusting Myst in the last game,.

ASRIEL

Mostly this is just their response to me. I think this was calm and collected in a way that doesn't seem like a new Elim who was getting voted.

WHIMSY

Whimsy is also on the lower end, but I do think that they have also shown a comfortable-ness in thread, if only RPing atm.

--

My reads have really little to do with any sort of pre-flips (bad habit, don't do it!) or connections atm. This is all based on how I have experienced players in thread before and who fits what kinda stereotype at the moment.

@Ascended Grubberfly

This was my response to your question from earlier. (Edit: it was posted about an hour after your question was asked)

And my question was more along the lines of what exactly were you hoping for in a reaction from me? What did you feel you would get from posting that, and me somehow reacting to, that would help you determine my alignment more than my posts already in thread?

Illwei I think it was just a somewhat late poke vote

Ink I'll come back to you later. I still like the option but as a countertrain it wasn't picking up.

Let's try TwinStorm.

This is interesting because of the two main trains I definitely prefer Mint over TUC, but I am currently voting with Mint, so... if anyone wants to go back to Ink, let me know :P.

In response to @Mat voting me for Elim, I ... have rather little to say? It's a fair enough vote, though I'd like to say that I genuinely didn't have any other reads on people at the time.

I am going to vote for Archer as I'm pretty sure he's going on an information-uncovering gambit which I don't fully trust as it seems like a lot of information for one person. Also, nearly all of his posts in thread have been vote counts and not analysis, which seems active but does very little

What happened to your Myst and TUC suspicions? Previously you said that your vote would be between the two of them.

I will admit though it's all somewhat flimsy, and I will take a look at this TwinStorm business people keep yapping about

Well yes, thats the point. A late poke vote on someone who was active and could have been engaged with rather than voted like was done.

To say that The intentions was "a poke vote" really explains nothing, because if grub wanted to get a read on me, or to encourage my activity, he could have interacted with the posts I had so far rather than voting.

Not to claim inexperienced, but I’m claiming inexperienced. I’m not exactly interacting a lot, I don’t really have strong reads in the current trains beside I think TUC is village (I had that very early on this is not something I picked up in the last few pages). It is duly noted that interaction can work like a poke vote, which will save me from a situation like last game where I poked in a later cycle and someone didn’t like how that read.

While I still think a deposition is a terrible idea for the same reasons as before, TUC has been so determined to go ahead with it despite it being such a divisive issue that it seems unnecessarily risky for an Elim.

I was largely suspicious of Myst because of his insistence that the Masvet-im role wasn't in the game, but that seems to have died down now and also I think it would be strange for an Elim to argue against what otherwise seems to be a fairly major role? Maybe?

I now have light v!reads on both of them, but early days, it's likely to change.

While I do skim the thread, I'm far too lazy to respond unless something catches my eye so don't expect much posting from me.  And yes, that includes votes on me.  If you just vote on me with no reason, I'm going to ignore you. :P

Feels targeted, but I'm going to move my vote off Alvron, and onto Archer. I agree with Ink, his posts seem sort of odd mostly VCs, for some reason), and his PMs remind me of what Doc used to do.

So, I said I would take a look at Twin, and I did

I will warn that for what comes next, I still don't know Illwei's magical method of linking exact posts, so anyone reading this will have to scroll

NVM I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT

YES I DID

TwinStorm

First post

Pops in to say he's going to sleep

Some people seem to find this suspicious, I don't

Mainly cause it's pretty much what I do all the time. I mean, I'd at least throw a poke vote on Araris first, but that's personal preference and not alignment indicative I think

Came back later to comment on my suggestion of everyone increasing loyalty this round, seemingly echoing that TUC's idea is bad

Talks a bit about distro

The next reference to Twin is an e!read from Mat, with no reasoning attached.

Twin remains present saying nothing important

Illwei mildly e!leans him for the first post, coming back to not give any thoughts

Mat explains the read is from the same as Illwei, slight negative points for distro, weird PMs

Mint becomes the first to actually vote Twin, seemingly convinced by the arguments above

And that's kinda it, besides Mat adding another vote

Honestly, I don't really wanna push this train, but I do find it kinda odd how the only things he's done are say he'll do more later, and then defend himself

@TwinStorm I'm actually gonna leave a vote right here until you come and actually do something to apply some pressure, and also while I take a second to reconsider my Mint suspicions

Twin

Yeah I don't think I wanna kill Mint

I planned on rereading her posts in the last game, but then realized I'm too lazy for that and don't think it will help me much anyway

But the more I look at it, the more I start to feel that it was just one weird move

Okay actually I'm doubting myself now

Hmm

I'm gonna take another break but I'm not disregarding a Mint exe yet

I wanna hear more arguments for more people cause I'm too lazy to make them myself right now

This is the downside of a thread so long

Any comments on my reads then since you asked for them?

It’s day one so maybe I’m over exaggerating but I read it as “I really think Asriel and Whimsy are village.” Which I don’t see much support for. I was trying to get more thought behind them, and then proceeded to skim what I didn’t realize was an explanation…

I say comfortableness in thread doesn’t mean village, but I agree that if Asriel seemed coolheaded when you voted him he might be village. I have limits on screen time right now so an actual read of the thread may have to wait, it is really needed I have skimmed so much.

I think I v!read Whimsy for something

Or maybe that was you

Ngl I'm so sorry for people behind on this thread I don't think I've ever seen one this long other than the AG

dang ok

first of all, sry for not being able to respond recently, it was storming where I'm at recently and internet just got fixed + work

I think people are trying to exe me simply because im in the gray space between vet who can rly help the village, person who always gets exed C1, and im not a newbie anymore, quite simply im a target : P

the "present saying nothing important" argument is the only real claim against me that I can tell (besides Mat's "vibes", still not entirely sure what he meant abt that)

except its D1. This has been something I've reiterated across PMs, and it's the fact that there is no information. Any real important discussion is rules anaylsis. We just exe D1 for vibes across the majority of games, and thats not something I think is worth doing

also, the "present saying nothing important" is genuinely not AI to how I play SE, especially in the early phase. What's important to me D1 is to get myself out there, read vibes, try and find a circle of trust

the problem is, I dont think anyone voting or even e!reading me rn is elim, Illwei was weird in PMs to me, lwk demanded I give my role, but thats just another AI thing

Also, I'm pretty sure Mint's just voting me to escape the exe, which I get, it makes sense if their village.

Good noontide, everyone!
Surprisingly little has happened today so far, comparatively, I see.

Araris called me suspicious, but I'm not sure I can address that until he gives concrete reasoning... so I guess I won't for now?

I think I will post my elim reads.

TUC - Light Elim. Pushing for the deposition so hard seems suspicious, although continuing to back it up is a point in his favor.
Archer - Elim. He's been heavily pushing for information in PMs and so far has added nothing to the main discussion.
Illwei - Light Elim: Most of what they've done has been village IMO, but they are still holding on to voting for me despite saying they think I'm village and they haven't explained why.
Twinstorm - Light Elim: Suspiciously doing nothing interesting and is one of the few to have not voted.

I still think that Hoid and Myst are either both elims or both villagers. That's mainly from vibes at this point, though.

Everyone else reads villager atm, but I'm new to this game, and this is D1, so I could be totally wrong.

these reads lwk seem kinda flimsy

TUC is honestly pretty village. I dont think e!TUC immediately pushes for deposition, it seems way too sus for an elim to post, and it feels very v/TUC based on past games with him. tho I do agree that him staying on that bus is v

Archer is another of my v/leans. The elims are the informed minority, and I dont think they need to gather nearly as much information in the way Archer is, its a pretty a village move IMO

Illwei, see above, weird vibes in PMs, but the rest of their playstyle is pretty in line with what ive seen of them in the past

as for me, well, again, the only arguments against me are non unique to my e or v playstyle : P

Shemyn (TwinStorm) had made a number of casual comments, but nothing too risky, almost as if he was trying to hide in plain sight.

Does this really read to you as a purely self preservation vote? Why would you think they vote on you for self-pres, but not TUC?
