There are loads of calendars around the world that have there own new years celebrations, but most people still celebrate the Gregorian new year.

I only know of the Chinese Calender, the Lunar calendar(which may be the same as the Chinese, idk) and the Gregorian one. But I know the Gregorian is the one most people use, so I say half.

oh I meant people usually celebrate concurrently. like we have a bengali new years but that doesn't stop peoppe from celebrating gregorian new years also nowadays. so I'd guess people in east asia would probably celebrate both the lunar new year and the gregorian one

So I have thought about who my Charakter actualy is, meet: Ralm, he is a Thaylen Merchant, his outfit is always cobbled together from as many diffrent fashions as possible, he is accompanied by a Mistspren but he hasnt yet recognized it as what it actually is and alway carrys a bag which for unexplained reasons containes a broken bone, a tatered hat and a Green Crystal Shard, Ralm will be very secretive why he carries those things around.

Finally came up with a name! That’s always my main roadblock:

Darak is a Reshi man who spent some time in Theylenah to learn the art of the trade. He was excited for a trip home, and agreed to help deal with the locals. He helped brainstorm the pre-written boasts, knowing they would make the Reshi hold the crew in a higher esteem. Really likes the Purelake as it reminds him of home.

 

Hope no one feels like I’m stepping on their toes with the boasts thing.

I am X, an experienced retired sailor brought on to the voyage for his experience. He retired quite a while ago, and came onto the voyage for the prospects of treasure. At least, that's what he told everyone.

Okay @Archer I have some questions

Most of them are more like maybe-dumb clarifications so bear with me please

1/ The cargo hold only replenishes if someone uses the Ship's Manifest to do so?

2/ How many objects can we expect in the cargo hold every cycle? Can there be repeateds of the same thing?

3/ Does the distinction rare/common mean anything other than how many you're gonna put?

4/ If not every item is snatched up from the Cargo Hold in one cycle, will the leftovers appear as options for the next?

5/ Can you submit orders to grab multiple items, or just one?

6/ Perhaps most importantly, what's the timekeeping? Cycle length, single-day? I might've missed it but I didn't see anything about it in the rules

I am Y, an inexperienced, cheerful young sailor brought on to the voyage to do tasks no one else wants to do that he's willing to do happily. It's his first voyage, and he came aboard with no interest in treasure - but rather, in chasing something far more personal. Of course, he told that to no one.

2/ Manifests will provide multiple Items, some of which may be repeats. 

3/ The rare/common distinction matters for the Thief win condition, and otherwise is just a benchmark for how commonly they'll appear in the resupplying. 

4/ Unclaimed Items remain in the Cargo Hold to be claimed later. There's also some recycling from the inventories of the dead.

5/ You can only ever submit one of each type of action. So grabbing two Items is impossible. You can't submit conditional orders, such as 'take the shardblade, but if I fail, take a bribe'. 

6/ Whoops. 48 hour cycles, standard MR. 

This game begins at 8pm EST on July 1.

So, if we grab an item C1, use it C2, we’ll get the results of the action at the start of C3?
