QF79 Cycle 4 - How did this happen? We're smarter than this.

“This is outrageous, it’s unfair!” Nail protested, as the mob bore down on him. “I’m not a killer! I’m just a simple messenger!”

He could fight them off. As a Burl, he was much larger and stronger than most of the other species, but he’d been trying so hard to learn to be a good Superiority citizen! He’d taken vows of nonviolence and enlightenment! He’d worked so hard be the first Burl to be acknowledged as possessing Primary Intelligence!

Unlike yesterday, the crowd was unanimous. Cryax was nowhere to be found after he had teleported away the previous day, that sneaky Kitsen. So now he was the sole target of suspicion. 

Nail sat down heavily onto the pavement as Naux read out the list of his perceived crimes. Goolius, on Naux’s shoulder, mimicked every third word. 

Nail loved the Superiority. He loved it so much that he wouldn’t violate their principles even as his doom drew close. 

In the end, Superiority Security broke up the crowd. Picked him up, took him to a big portal to some place where they said no one could hurt him, and where he could hurt no one. 

Nail closed his eyes, trusted in the Superiority, and walked in.

Naux wasn’t one to brag, usually, but he was really one of the most powerful people in the entire Diplomacy. Not only was he a cytonic Kitsen, he was the cytonic Kitsen, with a veritable array of powers at his disposal! Mindblades! Inhibition! Even Communication! Truly no other Kitsen could be so blessed!

He declared as much to his attackers, in the formal way of the Kitsen. Cowards, all of them, ambushing him. But he, at the very least, would do the honorable thing and warn them of his nigh-unlimited power, so they might have a chance to reconsider attacking him. 

A little bit into the fray, Naux began to realize that there might be perhaps a gap in his abilities - the ability to jump out of dangerous situations - He’d never needed it before! Kitsen never run! And besides, he was so powerful! 

As mindblades flew and crashed against inhibition barriers, Naux found himself wishing he had mastered just one more ability. 

“Ironic,” said one of his killers, wiping blood off their knife. “All that power… He could save others from death, but not himself.”

“The Tragedy of Sir Naux the Powerful,” lamented the other.

In her office, Aire took in the report. Two more loyalists dead. She regretted those deaths, of course. She was still raised to believe in peace and nonviolence. 

But she would regret letting the Superiority solidify their grasp on this sector more. 

She reached into the encrypted radio, found the encrypted frequency. 

“This is Ichor. Begin phase two.”

Fizz9 was executed, They were a Loyal Citizen and a Cytonic Communicator!

Myst was killed! They were a Loyal Citizen and a Cytonic Mindblader, Inhibitor and Non-Cytonic Communicator!

There will be a vote for removal during this Cycle. There is no vote minimum, and a tied vote will result in a random choice between all tied players. In addition, there is a possibility for kill from the Dissidents to occur this Cycle.

Anyways I’ve been inhibited again, as I expected after all the discussion regarding my ability last cycle.

There are 8 players left. In my view, three are cleared (myself, Wahr, TUM). That leaves three? elims among five people, which is a pretty good ratio.

I would love to hear from @Through The Living Star where were you last cycle? Also, I did attempt to target you, but since I was blocked it didn’t count. I’m curious if you have PMs with anyone other than Fizz? (And also if you’re the one who inhibited me, if that’s the case, it was very rude and I am not appreciative)

@___ I would also love to hear from you. Why vote for Penguin at the end there? (I’ll admit I’m also a little bit sus of Penguin, and he was my other attempted target last night, but I’m curious to hear your reasoning a little more in depth)

I am less than suspicious of Star, though i am more suspicious of her now than last cycle

Coco could still be an elim or not. I need to go back and do a reading to decide, but neither cleared nor suspicious anymore

mippo seems unusual. I dont know why. Hes more quiet than usual?

So. Tricky situation we are in now. Lets take a look at all the remaining players

Verdance - Voted Fizz C2 and C3, Fizz turned out to be innocent. And didn't vote C1

coco - Voted Qian C1 and ___/mippo C2. One is innocent, one hyperjumped. Because ___/mippo was on the chopping block and by a vote change they could've prevented it by voting anyone else E/E coco/mippo seems unlikely

___/mippo - Voted Qian C1 and me(rude) C3, didn't vote C2, therefore contributing to their own execution (where they survived by hyperjump)

Star - Haven't heard much from them and they haven't voted ever

Whar - Voted Verdance C1, and ___/mippo C2. Similarly because of that E/E Whar/mippo seems unlikely 

Drake - Voted Wahr, ___/mippo, and coco in each cycle respectively 

TUM - voted null, then Fizz, then Fizz again, who turned out to be innocent

Why is Drake confirmed village? With the low numbers of votes every cycle (except the last one) it would be very easy for the other two elims to be doing the voting and he doesn’t have to do anything for them to still get what they want.

Anyways I do agree about mippo or star, I want their responses before I decide though

I had been suspicious of penguin for a bit because of the message and his reaction, and I decided to vote him because my vote didn't count anyway and I wanted to bring the message thing to people's attention 

Last time I spontaneously voted someone at the end of the cycle, they turned out to be elim (archer in a game not long ago, can't remember which)

Sorry, I haven't been online too much, I got hammered with six finals that I didn't realize were this week. I've been trying desperately to study, which leads to little to no time on the Shard, if any on some days. Plus my competiton, which didn't help. 

I do have a PM with Verdance, as he's already said. Not one with anyone else though, now that Fizz has been exed. 

I didn't inhibit you, but I did put up an inhibition barrier around myself, so if you targeted me you may have hit that.

Anyways. My kneejerk response is that today should have Mippo and Coco fighting it out.

Mippo is suspicious because I still believe the Fizz v Mippo wagons on Day 2 probably had an elim in it, and Fizz was a villager.

Coco is suspicious because I still find her scanner claim hard to believe. A potential 2 clears per day is a lot to give one player, even with caveats. And we've only got 1 cycle's worth of results to work with, and that seems unlikely to change.

...but, I also think it's fairly unlikely that they're both evil together. Coco voted Mippo on Day 2 and I don't really think that would've been necessary in that case. I dunno conceivably they could be hellbussing but I think we should exhaust other possibilities before going there, the simpler read is they're unteamed.

So, I kinda think there's exactly 1 evil between the 2 of them.

...between the 2, I think our best option today is probably Mippo. As much as I'm skeptical of Coco, if her claim is real I just really don't want to kill her. I think if we flip one of these players it will tell us how to proceed with the other, and that being the case it's just good sense to not flip the one claiming a really valuable role first.

So, turns out my feeling was right, now I should have probbably done something about it but unfortunnately Mysts Reasoning seemed vedy logical.

But the thing is her ability only identifies villagers, not Elims, and not all Villagers scanned with it lwill be cleared. Also with the Game progressive forward its more unlikely to identify Villagers. So I am inclined to believe her in the moment (Hopefully this doesnt turn out to be a Doc Situation)

I am more sus of ___/mippo they were the First to consolidate Votes onto Qian C1 (and didnt have a good reason for it) they were in the tie C2 and now they brought the Penguin message up again which Was probably nothing more than a Reaction test by Myst.

I couldn’t have done much either way, with how many votes were already on him and how limited my time was today. So I elected to not.

Anyways I would like to propose an elim team consisting of Star, Drake, and one other.
