Uhh, I gotta make clear that you can’t post in the thread as a spectator. Spectator’s do get access to the Google doc where GMs talk, and they can discuss the game amongst themselves and the GMs (and the dead people!) but they can’t interact with the game itself

If you’d like you can look through previous games, I don’t know the best ones for that though. Hopefully it’ll help you see how this works. I hope you eventually decide to start playing

I'd suggest reading any of the recent LGs (the Anniversary Game might be a bit confusing with the anonymous accounts). Some of the older games (AG1 era) are pretty fun to read through as well, though they have a fairly different feel from how things are nowadays.

Okay so there’s multiple threads in the subforum I recommend reading, namely the Intro to SE thread (really all you need is the top post)

All the info about these particular roles for this game is in the signups post, but don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions

PMs between players should be titled “QF78: [sender] - [receiver]” and should also include me, @TwinStorm and @Araris Valerian (moderators)

When the game begins, Hoid Slayer will send you a PM with your role (if you have any) and your alignment. You just need to reply to that message with your action order. 

For example, you have been given the Sneaky role:

You just send a message in the same PM Hoid Slayer sends you. You can say something as simple as -

“How do you feel now, oh wise and mighty Knight Radiant? You did what you wanted, and you didn’t need anyone else’s help.” He shrugged, slumped against the back wall of the cage they were both stuck in. 

“I don’t know. Bored?” She kneaded her brow, borrowing the gesture from one of his old tutors. 

“Maybe if you didn’t spend all your time and Stormlight turning me into a stupid spear and swinging me at the air, or if you stopped trying to set everything on fire and practiced Transportation for once, you might be able to Elsecall out of this cage, or back to the physical world. But no, Rahakel is a Knight Radiant. He has to kill Voidbringers, save kingdoms and get the girl!” Rahakel wiped his face with his palm, smearing the red and white paint there. A pathetic disguise. Of course they wouldn’t take him for dullform. He should have taken the Everstorm into consideration. 

“Fine, Opal. It was a stupid plan.” She glared at him. “And I should have told someone or asked for help.” The glare somehow intensified. “And you were right. Again,” he finally conceded. She softened.

“This apology is acceptable.” 

“I didn’t apologize.”

“Close enough. Honestly, though, Rahakel, you’re never going to reach your full potential if you keep rushing in like this. True greatness isn’t just might or cunning ideas. You need to think things through more, ask for help. And storm it, if you had thought things through, obviously the Voidspren would capture you if you went to Shadesmar.” Rahakel grunted. 

“So now what?”

“Now we wait for someone to release us. And in the meantime, I can peek into the Physical Realm and spy on the singers. There’s a better way to go about it, but we can still get some information from this plan. And, if you’re polite about it, I might just tell you what’s going on to pass the time.”

Rahakel shifted, sliding to lay on the floor as the inkspren loomed over him, trying to get comfortable. This was going to be a long, long, undeniable period of time.
