A couple things, I think it's very unlikely that there are 5 elims with the control they have over distro, and 4 is a clean 25% which is usually the go to anyways. Also, I think it'd be pretty smart for some elims to claim smokers because it's hard to disprove someone's role unless they get killed and are thuged as they can claim they were smoked or whatever. I do think the elims having 2 smokers is a decent theory that I hadn't really thought of before though as they wouldn't even need to lie about being smokers.

I have directly heard of 5 smokers not counting the 3 who claimed in thread for a total of 8. As per my analysis earlier, id expect 7-8 total including village and elim.

I’m a smoker as well everyone, if we have 8 smokers… two of which are elim, that means that the seeker is going to have a rough time. Half the people are smoked, and the Elim smokers will probably smoke their buddies. Meaning that if none of us smoke anyone else, the seeker can only see about 6 people

I agree that there are probably 4 elims. We could have 2 Smokers and 2 Mistborn, which would be a huge problem.

Village smokers, turn off your copper! If we all do that, than the Seeker will know that someone's and elim if they're being Smoked.

 I'm throwing my vote on Ookla the Broken. Sorry friend! The only real thing I have against you is vibes. The post where you speculated 'this is good ground for rioter/soother', and you going 'oh we could be going against 3 elim mistborn/thugs, this could be bad". Basically it's a lot of "oooh this could be bad for the village, which I am. hee hee", that is really throwing me off in a TMI or trying too hard to identify with the village kind of way. This vote might not get anywhere but this is the one solid read that's throwing me alarm bells.

We can’t, we can choose to not smoke someone else, but we ourselves are automatically smoked. As for the Elims, they’ll smoke their buddies, and if someone’s a smoker is being smoked I believe the seeker would receive the same message, I think.

The vibes are completely fair. Last game I was in my vibes were all over the place, so I can understand the vote. Also, ties just make it so that the rioter and soother have control of the votes, they’re not random like usual.

I think ties are importsnt in this ruleset. We learn less due to all the smokers but vote manip can still tell us a decent bit and alv is in this game. I dont want Stick to die, but for right now

I think I disagree with just about everything in this statement .

I’ll be a bit sad if I get exed here, but I suppose that means I can spend more time writing my dissertation. TJ and Hoid are probably the other players I’d consider swapping to, but neither of them is particularly competitive in this exe.

Wait, smokers can choose not to smoke themselves so that seekers and vote manip can target them? I interpreted the rules to mean the self smoking was passive and the extending it was active?
