Ver’s mind flashed back to a similar experience, standing before Dazh, the Açila Sun. He was a different person then. This time, he was certain.

I have come to you in a call for aid. The denizens of Açila face a grave threat in the form of the Cloud. In a matter of days, the Cloud will Reboot the planet, and everyone on it will die. Unless you choose to help them.

We would seek to evacuate the citizens of Açila before the cataclysm. To preserve the beauty of this world. But we cannot do it alone.

The fox was ejected from Custom, back to where he came from. He would be unable to get back without a guide.

A shadow in the shape of a wolf emerges from the forest, completely silent. The light warps around it, like a wound in the very air, distorting and consuming. Its padded feet turn into padded boots, and its claws into blades. 

He speaks for a moment to the fox and nods. The fox stretches upwards until their fur turns bare, and porcelain covers their eyes.
