A suspiciously warm ray of light exited the void of space and enters into the spaceship, bouncing between the walls for a fraction of a millisecond before losing interest, shooting back into space and, in a move rather atypical of normal light, turning to aim towards the planet below. A very short time later the light reached the surface of the planet and turned again, ricocheting off the scales of the stardragon there and briefly shining a blindingly bright light in the direction of the excited man speaking to the dragon before coming to a rest in a happy-seeming ray that could almost be mistaken for a normal stream of sunshine, if only the sun in question wasn't completely veiled in dark storm clouds.
