No. I'm using it loosely at this point, partway between a numerical system and a degree one. = mild/weak V lean. = normal Village read, stronger than . I have prepared a bunch of tiers along Patamon's evolutionary line for stronger V reads and E reads and nulls but we'll activate that Crest when we get to it. Either way, I'll always be happy to qualify what I mean but Digimon reads have brought me great joy in SE so I'm not about to abandon them. Kasimir he/him Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 @DeTess - To spell it out, to me, it's a good look that TJ hit the ground running and tried to offer a read-relevant thought on Mat, even if I don't fully agree with it or didn't quite feel I could agree with that read at that juncture. When I alluded to his recent behaviour, I was drawing a contrast to TJ opening with a gut-based vote in his last Evil game, LG93. That being said, I'm slightly re-evaluating downwards on Mat at this point, in a direction. For other reasons I'd prefer not to currently talk about without more thread presence from others. I temper it with the fact that: 1. It's really early in the game (we're at p2 right now) and I take most early reads in a post-sparse game to especially need qualification because they aren't robust enough, and 2. I always want to V read TJ, to the point of making excuses for E!TJ (see: LG93 which was a game of me consistently making excuses for E!TJ.) So I am recently reminded I need to be wary of my impulse to offer a positive read of TJ. Which is basically the thought process behind my entire 'yo I kinda want to but also not' and 'actually I don't think I can give you credit for denying a read' line of thought right there.
