"I think you really need to reevaluate your definition of fun if all you enjoy is murder."

"I do not have experience doing much else, and I enjoy it."

"...Would you like to try something else?"

"How much else is there to try?"

"Wouldn't a cloak be better for that purpose?" Klave shrugged. "If Rayvyn is trying new things, I can give her some lessons on whaling."

"You kill whales, and use their carcasses for valuable resources. I learned all about it on this trip I was on."

Rayvyn brightened. "Killing is good! I do not know what a whale is, however..."

"It's a very large creature, mostly peaceful. They live in the ocean." Klave shrugged. "You want to try it? I'm sure we could find an ocean, and crews are always happy for more sailors."

Klave hesitated. "We could try farming, I suppose. That only involves killing chickens, in most cases."

Fadran chuckled. "Maybe we should instead participate in the greatest recreational activity ever created."

Rayvyn frowned. "I do not know what the 'recreational activity' is either. Perhaps we could go back to killing things?"

"A bird. They lay eggs. And if you've tasted basically any kind of meat, you have a pretty good idea what it tastes like." Klave turned to regard Fadran. "What activity do you speak of?"

Rayvyn sits down on the floor. "I do not like words. 'Meat'? 'bird'? 'eggs'? 'lay'? I do not know these words. Knives are much easier."

Klave sighed. "New idea: We teach Rayvyn to cook."
