You know. Like a ghost does.

Ilvaite furrowed her faintly transparent eyebrows. "But I'm not a ghost."

You aren't?

"No," replied Ilvaite firmly, all whilst floating a few inches off the ground.

"Which just leaves me wondering what kind of quest... But we can put that aside." Lightning shuffled around a bit, then stared at the scales. "Hmm... You think this scale was specifically magical? I don't think my kind of dragons can grant such fire abilities... But dragons can be different across worlds." He moved his tail from side to side, careful not to hit Klade - or a glass of wine, that was on the floor for some reason. "As can humans, I guess. Could be interesting to see what variations there are."

"Every part of a dragon is magical. Their fire is made by that magic, and now that I've had that magic embedded into me, I have access to some uses of their magic." Klave shrugged. "That's about as much as I know."

"So, uh, you said this is an Inn? Like, a hotel?" She asked. "Are you hiring, 'cuz I am currently broke and need a job."

Yeah, we're always looking for more workers! Vacity began to grumble - it was quite a strange sound. I mean, I'm not even supposed to be here in the first place. The manager just ran off to go clean out the junk yard and nobody else was around.

"Oh wow."

Current openings are... everywhere. Vacity ducked back behind the receptionist's desk to find a list. Except lifeguard, I guess, because the pool's closed for the season. We're looking for receptionists, janitors, spell technicians, breakfast chefs, eldritch storeroom plumbers, cookie de-spikers, and... Vacity squinted at the last item on the list and sighed. Mr. Chrono is asking for an assistant again. I wouldn't take that one - he never keeps anyone for more than a week.

"...cookie de-spikers? What? Why is that a specific job?" She asked baffled. "And who's Mr. Chrono?"

He's the Wizard of the Clock Tower. Seriously; he's grumpy all the time. 'S what he gets for basically living inside a giant alarm clock.

"Huh." She paused. "What do spell technicians do?"

Not really. The Boss keeps everything up to par for the most part with his own fancy magic powers. He just can't take care of every single little thing.

"Okay then. I'll apply for the position of receptionist."
