She took a bite of her food, swallowed, then winced as a stab of pain flared up in her side. It might be a while before I'm healed fully. "Kaeni," she asked, changing the topic. "You said you thought we could go anywhere in Figeri. Do you know...how much time we usually get to go on our own...um...assignments? As in, seperate from Reaper assignments?"

So, is it like, more experienced Reapers go out into the deepest parts of the system to find the hardest to get souls, get them to a slightly easier path where Reaper or group of Reapers takes over, and so on until the Gates of Eternity, which is what the newest Reapers are often tasked with guarding?

"There's a gateway shrine down south that we can use. A lot of people arrived for training here from that way, I think."
