Mmmm, couldn't have been able to follow Saki.

So.. Grace is scouting out the building ahead of the others and is in clear view of it?

Oh, whoops. Saki is scary.

She'll probably look around for Deathbringers in the Enchanted realm for the time she has.

Elya sucked in a breath, then drew her sword and stepped out into the street. She stood at the alley's head, glancing about. Anyone who noticed her shied away from just her stance alone, and those who remained ducked into a nearby building. In these richer sides of town, people actually believed the anti-Mystic propaganda: they'd likely be calling her into the Pacis already for suspicious behavior.

Good. That cleared the area.

"Any minute now..." She muttered.

Ah, kk.

High up in the building, there was a glimmer of dark blue and violet. It was extremely hard to see what was above the blue and violet, but from what she could see, there was some sort of neutral color? Even if Grace were to squint, it was difficult what color was in their head.

When she looked down lower, there was a small golden light closer to the ground floor. It moved around, inching closer to what was assumed to be a window. The colors above the gold was some sort of magenta color with the slightest hint of violet.

"So... you're the one they're all talking about?"

Tengo V'Harte stepped out of the shadows across the street, wearing nothing more than a pair of trousers and some spiked knuckle braces. He grinned like a madman at Elya, sweeping his jet-black hair aside with a jerk of his head.

"Nice to meet you."

Elya pulled the mask down, but didn't say anything. The gas would, at most, make a minor inconvenience for these Mystics. With luck that would still improve their odds a bit, but with the foggy glass eye coverings and restricted breathing, she couldn't help but feel a little... trapped. Her powers were at an uncanny low.

Checking that everyone he cared about had a mask on, John grabbed a tub of bleach ripped the cap off and emptied a ammonia tub into it.

Instantly noxious yellow fumes rose from the container. John repeated the process and soon the whole alleyway was filled with mustard gas.

The shimmering bit of the air vanished away, erasing any presence of the second voice. Elya stood and watched the first, then almost threw up in her mouth a little as he stepped forwards and took a little whiff of it.

The Mystic stumbled back in a coughing fit, but kept the cruel grin on his face.

"Ahhh..." He hacked up blood, wiping it off. "That's good stuff."

John walked as silently as he could, the gas would allow him to move to new positions without being seen.

Slowly he crept up the the edge of the alley, where he could just see the enemy mystics.

Taking a deep mechanical sounding breath John fired.

The Mystic avoided easily, darting around the acidic air. Despite the putrid, euphoric grimace on his face, he seemed to be mostly smart enough to avoid breathing the gas in completely. His eyes were trained on Elya for the time being, but it was clear he was scanning the area in its entirety at the moment.

John fired thrice in quick sucession, purposfully aiming the second two shots slightly to the side, hoping for a hit.

"Just die already."

Ji's eyes fluttered open when John put the mask over his face. He couldn't see quite clearly; the... whatever that was in the air certainly didn't help. Ji slowly picked himself up to sit back on the alley wall behind him. His breathing quickened, sending his mind into flashbacks from earlier.

Weight on his chest. His vision darkening by the second. His very lungs giving out on him. No matter how hard he tried to do a basic function to just breathe, it was near impossible.

Ji reached up to claw his mask off, but someone stood right in front of him, distracting him. He looked up, squinting through his fuzzy vision and the air. Was that Elya in a gas mask?

"Hey, it's okay," a muffled voice said. "We're going to get you out of here, alright?"

Sure sounded like Elya, even through both the mask and his own muffled hearing. Ji nodded toward her, scenes of what happened earlier plaguing him.

As soon as she touched him, everything stopped around them. The breeze that had picked up and moved the weird looking air around him halted. Ji shook his head. He must be really tired. After all, his vision was still blurry and he couldn't quite hear. It was best if he were to move out of the way of this weird air. The figure Ji assumed to be Elya reached down and picked him up, and began to bob and weave through the still people.

"Thank you," he whispered, his head spinning.

"It's my pleasure," she responded, entering the building before anyone could notice.
