  1. Agreed. Reducing Brandon's workload for this would be good and this would help keep the album a little more tidy and uniform in design i think with one person overseeing the pages.
  2. Tracings of the Headings for the pre-released WoR chapters and interludes are finished. As always, the pictures are png's and the hyperlink are the svg vector. Shallan Flashbacks: Shallan Chapters: Adolin Chapters: Eshonai Interludes:
  3. Seems to me Adolin is the one currently trying all the different flavors of... Ice cream.
  4. Chapter 30:
  5. I wonder if there are brain freeze spren.
  6. Meta told me all the roles are in so I'll go ahead and make this post now rather than waiting till just before midnight. First off, I am the snapped coinshot. At this point we only have another night or two left so it doesn't really matter if I announce it. If we don't get the spiked by tomorrow night, it's likely all over anyway. I have a feeling I am likely to get killed tonight so wanted to pass along my suspicions to anyone that survives the night. My choice for Gamon last night was partly based on reason but mostly gut feeling. For my decision tonight I went back and read through all the posts from day four until now, knowing what I do now about who is left as possible spiked. Based on my insights from that reanalysis, here is my list of most suspicious to least suspicious. I also made note of what spiked role I think they are based on my guess about when they were converted, if they were actually converted. Aonar - lurcher Mathieu - regular/seeker Wilson - coinshot Quillion - coinshot Vron - coinshot - I really don't think he is spiked though Aether - regular/seeker Windrunner - regular/seeker Seran - obviously not spiked We need to take out the lurcher before the coinshot since they'll be protecting the coinshot. For that reason, tonight I will be attacking Aonar. The spiked want to take out our coinshot so there is no point in them attacking Seran. That narrows down their choices to about 2-3 of the remaining active players so it's likely that I'm history tonight. On the off chance I do survive, you know I'm not spiked because I was openly against lynching shiv and pro lynching Cessie which means I wasn't spiked at that point. The two spiked after that were a lurcher and Gamon so when I prove I'm a coinshot tonight by killing Aonar you know I'm clean. If Aonar is spiked, you really know I'm clean Tonight is essentially the game. If I'm wrong about Aonar and they take me out, it's over.
  7. If you haven't fixed that yet, go to your profile page --> edit my profile --> 'ignore' preferences --> uncheck the box at the top of that page.
  8. No offense, but exactly what value is there to have been in the Peng crew? We know all their intel was compromised and, to date, no information that group gathered has lead to a spiked kill (unless the coinshot made their decision last night on that info). For me, a person's status in that group is meaningless at this point and will not effect my vote at all. Plus, why would I take vron's word on it even if I did value that status? For all I know you and him are both spiked so could easily just say you were in that group. It's an easy claim to make since no one is left to contradict your claim.
  9. I'm from the US, born in Louisiana but have lived in Texas most of my life. I speak proper American English, no southern accent... well, except for the word y'all.
  10. Quiver, I believe Alvron has been playing long enough to know if he really wanted his vote disregarded he would need to make an official color statement. His other comment about still suspecting Wilson makes me think that was still his vote and if that is the case, you've created the exact situation you said you wanted to prevent. It's a tie of 2 for Seran and 2 for Wilson which puts me in a Big quandary. I was hoping to wait and see if I could deduce loyalties based on votes before I voted myself. With three spiked who all know who each other are and the total number of votes being so low now, I would have thought there would be one person with a decisive number of votes at this point. That person would obviously be non spiked because the spiked would have banded together to make sure. I see two reasons for the current tie: 1. Both Seran and Wilson are clean so the spiked are equally fine with them both being lynched or a tie. They are safe with both outcomes 2. At least one of the spiked are inactive so they can't railroad a single person with only two votes. It worries me that Wilson has not defended herself, commented on suspicions, or voted for two days now. Maybe waiting to make a last minute sway vote? The problem I have now is that if I don't vote, it will end as a tie and we learn nothing tonight. If I vote Wilson, she could vote Seran at the last minute and again we tie.The fact that you announced being pewter, Seran, kinda forces my hand. If I vote you Wilson can't force a tie. If you are telling the truth, we at least learn that you are clean and that is one person our coinshot knows to not target tonight. I'm fine with no one actually dying tonight as long as it gives our coinshot some useable data for his/her attack so I must vote Seran. If there is some fault in my logic, please inform me. Well, I was just about to post this but decided to check for new posts and saw that Wilson commented while I was gathering my thoughts. So, just imagine this post was before hers.
  11. I think that was more wishful thinking on their part. They'd prefer the KR and their old gods didn't come back so, despite the fact that he fought with a spear, they are hoping his surgebinding comes from an honorblade and not a spren. It was more of a could have been.... possibly.... maybe.... edit: ninja'd... by two people... that's a first
  12. I've got a busy schedule the next few weeks (including devouring WoR multiple times) so probably won't be joining this game but gotta say, wow, seven pages and signups aren't even finished yet. Good luck with the write ups penguin I'll definitely be keeping an eye on how this one goes and will probably hop on game four when it starts.
  13. I could be wrong but wouldn't Gamon have been the last one spiked since he was a soother? I'm basing that off Alspren's chart: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/5630-game-2-the-devils-den/?p=100110 Unless there is some dynamic I'm not seeing on how spiked powers works, I think only the last convert could have been a soother. I'm not disputing Wilson's culpability (she is the only one on both of the suspiciously lists I gave) but not sure your reasoning holds up. I agree though that taking out inactives doesn't help. I'm leaning heavily towards Wilson or Matheiu but still gonna hold off before making a choice. We have time.
  14. Two more of our brethren gone but It would appear the person who snapped the previous night was a coinshot and was lucky in their choice of targets. Three more spikes to yank out. Gonna be close. Here is a reminder of the previous day's vote: Player Votes Roban - 5 (Gamon, Barty, Quillion, Aonar, Wilson) Grave - 1 (Vron, Roban) Mathieu - 0 (Grave) No Vote - 5 (Windrunner, Wes, Seran, Aether, Mathieu) Now that we know Grav and Barty were good and Gamon was a spiked soother, this is my interpretation of how that vote went in conjunction with the suspicions I already had. Gamon helped get the ball rolling on Roban. Wilson tagged on an extra vote to make sure they had numbers. Seran and Mathieu abstained from voting to avoid drawing attention since they could sooth one vote off Grave and Mathieu and ensure Roban's demise. The other alternative is that Gamon, Quillion, Aonar, and Wilson are the spiked and all voted Roban after Barty threw his name in. Guess that's not narrowing this down all that much but those are my two best guess at the final spiked as they stood yesterday.
  15. Argent put up links to some of the WoR Interior Art on a thread this morning and I couldn't wait to make a tracing of the Bridge Four Tattoo featured on one of the pages. For all that want it, here it is. Clicking on the picture downloads the larger png and the hyperlink is for an svg file. Bridge Four Tattoos:
  16. But it's possible Shallan was actually hearing pattern's interpretations of the spheres before and not the actual sphere. That quote shows that pattern makes his voice sound different for each sphere he translates so when Shallan said before that the voices she heard in shadesmar were different, they could have all been Pattern's.
  17. When reading the word lift in other books jars you out of the narrative because your brain no longer associates it with a term but instead with a character
  18. I'll vote for Aspren since the suspicion on him seems pretty pervasive. Going along with what I said earlier, though, should he prove innocent the people who voted for him straight after the write up will be at the top of my list.
  19. That's been my main assumption about Szeth's punishment is that he went against some deep set belief about the existence of Voidbringers or the Radiants which made him "truthless". The central theme of his plot is that he has to kill people despite hating the act himself on order to keep his honor and hold to his punishment. It seems like the most satisfying resolution would be for him to discover that he is in fact correct about the voidbringers, the shin are wrong, and that he doesn't "deserve" his punishment. I think he'll still have a confrontation with Kaladin, ending with Szeth being run off but not dying. Something during the fight though will cause him to realize he was right and to seriously doubt if he really is "truthless".
  20. Um... So we have no intention of at least discussing suspects before we start voting? Did our mistborn happen to give a reason for the suspicion you can provide? I'm not arguing with you, Aspren has been on my suspect list for a while, but it seems to me, now that there are four spiked, a good strategy would be for them to all throw out votes for one person to get the ball rolling on someone that wasn't one of them.
  21. I'll be at the Houston Signing so I can have cards to pass out for that one.
  22. Alright, last chapter heading glyph finished up. Just in time for the next book. Here it is for anyone that wants it. Szeth's Chapter Glyph:
  23. Doh! I was just typing this out Hero: Well, right now we have it setup where anybody can request an extension of the day. What if only a bendalloy user was allowed to extend the day? Cadmium users in turn could shorten the day. That could be a little overpowered though but would make things interesting. If a few people vote early for someone, the Cadmium user shortens the day, and the vote ends before people expected making those few votes the only ones.
  24. I decided to show love for some non cosmere works and Rithmatist seemed like the best choice. I mean, who doesn't love chalklings? I took the chapter headings, removed the numbers, and filled in the resulting gaps to end up with these chalklings. I tried to get rid of the circle too but it looked strange because most of the chalklings were actually drawn with the circle as part of the design so I left it on there. Question for the wiki moderators: would you want the SVG files uploaded on the coppermind for the chalklings section? I also have the original chapter headings isolated as jpgs. Would you want those uploaded and used for each chapter of The Rithmatist Summary page? The images themselves are png's sized to work as profile icons. Clicking on one will allow you to download a stylized SVG vector I made for each.
